Spring approaches! What is the onset of spring like for your character? Does it bring associations? Do they have spring-specific tasks?

(PS: Sorry to our Boston folks who are getting a nor'easter for spring. Hurrah the broken weather machine.)

Graverobber's excited because digging up dead people gets way easier when the ground, and the people, are not frozen. So he's excited :D

Sabine and Ahsoka tend to live mostly in climate controlled ships, so season are not really a thing. In Sabine's case, there is Lothal but again, who knows what their climate is like, given the tendency to monoclimates in SW.

John is living and working in Georgia, so looking forward to warmer weather? Given the nature of the Mutant Underground and his world, I think he's also getting rain barrels ready and taking care of repairs to the building from Winter. I think he also looks forward to nature waking up and getting loud. Aside from the fond memories and feelings of seeing the world alive, all that noise makes for a great alarm system to him when it goes suddenly silent due to odd presences and the like.

Sam normally would be taking stock of which homeless vets made it through the Winter. He's also looking forward to new fruit and veggies.

Tybalt enjoys Spring as it typically means new kittens and playtime. (Shh, don't tell anyone.)

Demeter's daughter is coming home for the Spring and Summer! So she's very happy about that.

Cassian travels on ships and between lots of planets, which means seasons don't matter that much.

Quentin, hm, I don't think spring means too much to him as I'm trying to remember books with a focus on that season.

Will and William it means slightly different work around Nottingham and on the ranch.

Sameth enjoys Spring, it makes the Old Kingdom a little safer, more running water.

Charles has always liked watching spring happen around the mansion but its bittersweet as he can't go walk in it.

Ivan, spring doesn't mean that much other than a new season and nicer weather.

Moist for spring means that riding when he's on the run is warmer and a reminder that he's not in Uberwald.

Tumnus loves spring, every time it comes is a sign that the White Witch is gone.

Baze is currently enjoying all the gorgeous flowers and birds that spring in Milliways brings, as well as warmer weather. All the grass out back still amazes him.

... I had it all written out for my pups, and then accidentally backspaced my way to the previous page. I win.

Anyway, for Katya spring means patrols are going to start getting easier as the nights get shorter. (Sixteen hour patrols are a pain in the ass) Never mind the Dark tends to get a bit less powerful once it warms up, something about how it not being freezing outside (and often inside) helps foster more altruistic motives. Also, more kids on the playgrounds. That's almost always good for a high.

Also? Summer parties out in the country for the win.

I don't think Wilford has enough situational awareness to even notice the seasons, until they start being an inconvenience to him.

Eriond: Spring means no more sledding for another year, and means it's easier on Horse going riding.

Lois: Wardrobe changes! Seasons are weird for her sometimes because they move so frequently. She'll get ideas about seasons once they settle properly in Metropolis.

Evelyn: Grateful the halls are warmer. Later it'll be a matter of survival that it's easier to get through with longer days and less cold nights.

R2: Seasons are strange for him, because of the standard SW reasons of 'lives on a ship mostly,' but going by environment it's nice getting out of snow because that's hard for him to navigate, and ice gets slippery and all. OTOH, summers mean more cooling and that's annoying.

Anakin: So, on the one hand, ships lack of seasons etc? But that thing of "world going green and coming back to life and blooming," yeah, actually, he loves that more than he really has good words for, because he's from frickin' Tatooine and desert. So on those temperate planets with spring? Yeah. Spring is amazing and he loves it. Also, lots of rain in good years, right? Rain is a miracle to him.

Tavi: Warmer weather means more survivability for people and hopefully between not too cold and not too hot healthier conditions less prone to resulting in plague. Also, better ground conditions for agriculture so they can try to get more non-vord wax food out to people. And less cold and dark is just good for most people's moods, and is better for the baby to be out in. Around spring starting, though... well, now he'll forever remember that time he reversed spring, durr, and also Wintersend always carries memories of the time Sextus nearly died and in retrospect that whole thing scares Tavi even more than it did at the time, because if things had gone poorly, well, insanely bad results. So yeah, he has a lot of feelings and history around the transition to spring.
