Friday DE

Finishing out the week of childhood, does your pup hold onto something from their childhood? Say an item or a dream or an ideal?

Anger. Amusement at the memory of his first murder, because that never stops being funny. Annnnd his all-consuming hatred of the world and everyone in it, because childhood is when that whole thing started.

No physical items though. He erased all trace of his own existence when he went underground, and certainly didn't feel any need to take keepsakes with him. Except for Carl's trainers, obviously, but he always intended to give them to Sherlock one day.

Nothing at all. Except for maybe some leftover resentment.

He did still have his baseball bat from college until the dog ate it.

Any keepsake Baze would have kept was destroyed by the Death Star. But he did keep Chirrut, and also kept the love of those shortbread cookies with Berry jam the temple kitchens would give for birthdays.

Autor kept his dedication to the piano, only recently revitalized thanks to his most recent EP.

Sherlock carries the memory of his dog, Redbeard.

The Holmes family never had a dog.

He also carries a childhood of resentment in desperate need of therapy.

Cassian: That justice is possible in the galaxy though some days that hope is harder to hold onto than others. Also how to make spiced hot chocolate like his parents did, knowing how to cook Festian foods is important to him though I think he learned more of them after leaving.

Charles is still living in his childhood home so its all there. His belief in people caring for each other is a little tarnished but still there.

Quentin, I'm not sure, all the answers I can think of are spoilery.

At the moment, no ideas for the other ones, its been a rainy quiet day for me.
