RIGHT??? Part of me is intrigued by their Dracula series, part of me is just dreading another mess.

Omg, I was just going to mention Dracula but I didn't want to curse it. Maybe it'll be the same. Start brilliantly and then....go a different way.

But I do hold out hope. Like - Dracula is a smaller source material, and hasn't been adapted quite so many times, so maybe going weird with it will seem less jarring. Idk. I will give them the benefit of the doubt until I see it. :/

I have a half-baked theory that fandom has taken the place of religion in modern times, like how people talking about "joining" or "leaving" a fandom like it's a huge lifestyle choice. What used to be channeled through religious fervor is now shipping and all that. If I knew more about anthropology I could probably make more sense of it.

That's actually really interesting. And I think the idea could well work for some people, because some do build their lifestyles and, to some extent, identity around a fandom and their place in it. I guess everyone finds different outlets - some would use sport, or whatever - but it probably proves that people really really need something outside themselves to invest in.

If they could just do it without hounding actors to the point of making them stop working on a show, that would be great though. :/

God, yes. In the article on Pajiba.com that talked about MF's interview, someone in the comments mentioned that the shipping of two of the guys from One Direction made the boys uncomfortable around each other, for example. That kind of thing breaks my heart.

Sending folks on quixotic missions is one of Amascut's favorite things to do so the sweets are unnecessary. Annoying her siblings with an overly ambitious witch is just a bonus.

She would ask for help with tracking down her father but the snow and ice thing is too annoying.

When he was little, Enzo might have (okay, would have) done so unintentionally due to grossly underestimating the threat, but as soon as he realized that everything had gone horribly wrong, he would have either babbled an apology and gotten help, or saved the day himself as ridiculously as possible.

Enjolras: Are you kidding. No. I mean, I don't think he especially cares about Turkish delight anyway, but does not sell out is sort of a defining character trait for him.

Thor: No. But Loki probably got there first anyway. And now I'm picturing The Lion, The Witch, The Wardrobe, And Two Odinsons and it's an amazing prospect. (Or And Odin's Children, depending on how you want to cast Hela here.)

Cosette: Now: no. In her childhood: maybe, at certain points, but that's depressing to think about, so I'm gonna focus on Cosette getting to dance with dryads instead (which oh man she would love.)

Kazul: No, and also if you were going to try to fruitlessly bribe her you might pick something more interesting to do it with, she feels.
