I've been reading Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology, which is absolutely amazing. It's like having history read to you by firelight, but without having to step outside.
I just finished the last book of the Thorn of Breland trilogy, which was very fun and set in my favorite D&D campaign setting, Eberron. If you've ever wondered what Black Widow or James Bond might be like in a D&D setting, check these out. Nice and quick reads.
I've also been loving my first read of the second iteration of X-Factor and am about halfway through the second graphic novel. If Disney does take over the X-Men and wants to try another X-Men type TV show, ala the Netflix Marvel, they totally should do X-Factor.
Also in comics, check out Super Freaks. Think Mystery Men with a millennial vibe. The thing I loved about this was the character really were social misfits and not just Holloywood "cool" misfits.
In podcast land, D20 Dames is still fun, though I'm behind as I haven't found the time to catch up and they've recently expanded the length of their episodes.
I mainlined S1 in four days, and will be all caught up on S2 by tonight. Which took me...three days. I don't love love it, but it's definitely great, and I definitely want to keep watching to find out where it's going.
Also, if anyone hasn't seen the Patrick Melrose miniseries, see the Patrick Melrose miniseries. It just finished this weekend, and it's wonderful. Also, read the books. They're even better.
I've been watching an LP of Kirby Star Allies, and near as I can tell, it's fantastic. Also recently watched an LP of Super Mario Odyssey and that was equally fun.
Not, uh, actually out yet, but how 'bout that new KH3 trailer?
As an aside, please support gamers who play Nintendo content however you can. If they have merch, consider buying something. Nintendo takes anywhere from 40-100% of the revenue these videos generate, depending on how much they like the channel. That's after the 50% cut YouTube takes, and the cut the channel's content manager (if they have one) takes.
I've been enjoying the Sequilisers podcast. They discuss movie sequels - what made them good, bad, what they'd fix, etc. It's a lot of fun, and incredibly meta, which I'm always up for.
Don't Starve put out two new trailers: one for the new multiplayer event (some kind of cooking competition game) and one for the new singleplayer DLC (Wilson or, presumably, another survivor of the player's choice tries to escape the island, fails, and lands somewhere that has an actual town of pig people next door to some treasure-filled ruins). Neither of these are playable yet, although the Gorge will be in beta in a couple of days.
The only other new-to-me-or-otherwise thing I've been enjoying is the "Genghis Khan" music video with the supervillain falling in love with the hero. Which is a couple years old, but I only just watched it.
Aggretsuko. Watched all the Netflix episodes over the course of two nights this past week. Had to explain to a friend that no, it's not that Retsuko has a bad singing voice, that's just what death metal vocals are supposed to sound like, and that if he wants metal with good vocals he should listen to Metallica or Sabaton or something.

Also, Anthony Hopkins. I mean, that’s reason enough on its own.
