Monday DE: Wait until you see this place

Could we have another "bring your own NPC" day in the backroom? There are a bunch of character from my pups' worlds I'd love to introduce to the bar just for one day.

So have at it. And for fun's sake, let's call this one open for the week.

ETA: Come to think of it, Wednesday is a new app cycle, so why don't we open this to new voices as well.

[OOC: You know what, I really need to practice with these guys, so let's give it a shot.]

"No can do, Fenton-Matrix," comes Diode's voice through the open Door. "Not the whole squad at once. That'd be dereliction of duty."

"I told you," says Enzo, standing in the doorway, "we'd be gone literally no time at all, no one'd be derelicting anything. But if it makes you feel better, you can come in groups?"

"It does," she concedes. "Tilde, Bit, and... yes, all right, Perl, knock it off with the puppy eyes, Bit... you go first. Ruby, Virgule, Newline, and I will go when you're done."

Group 0

Three female sprites—two humanoids in Guardian uniforms, and a glossy off-white 0 binome—accompany Enzo into the bar. The tallest of the three, dark maroon with a navy blue braid, looks around with a deceptively bored expression. The other Guardian is gray with vermilion curls and petite verging on tiny, enough so to drag her even tinier, spherical girlfriend around by the hand in her excitement.

Viv has been watching the group as they make there way and sets off to met them at the bar.

"You do not appear human, or organic. Are you synthezoid?" Her tone is calm and placid, and she's wearing fabric clothing, a green sweater and khaki pants, which compliment her magenta skin and green hair; which are very much not organic.

Group 1

"That was fast, I'll give you that," says Diode, who is skinny, spiky-haired, and yellow, with a permanent look of suspicion.

"Told you."

The rest of the group consists of a 1 binome with long red hair, a blue-skinned Guardian with shoulder-length green hair and a small goatee, and a lanky Guardian, the youngest save for Enzo himself, who frankly looks (and sounds) like a red Jay Baruchel.

Sadly, I don't tend to write a lot of NPCs - for Cecil here, his world is already heavily populated. :)

A broad shouldered man in the dark robes of Dark Ages priest slept into the bar, sweeping a staff cautiously ahead of him. Olive skin and dark curls, his most noticeable feature is the puckering and burn damage to his blinded eyes.

"Have you come for more treatment?" asks a voice that Niketas may find vaguely familiar.

"You appear disabled. Would you like assistance?" A calm and placid voice asks. The speaker is likely young and perhaps a woman.

A smoll child, around five, is standing in a chair coloring with a fierce and determined expression. The crayons are scattered across the tabletop. Occasionally Ceilidh will poke an adult with the same bright red hair as she had asking him a question on how to spell something. The man seemed to be dozing with his feet up on the table. The position is rather precarious but he manages to balance rather easily.

Eventually she finishes and tapes the sign to an empty bowl. The sign reads "Place Tribute for the Candy Princess here" with a picture childish drawing of Ceilidh wearing a princess dress and crown, Rory standing next to her and a unicorn horn dripping with blood.

Jumping down off her chair she starts wandering around with the bowl to the various tables and shoving it at the people sitting there saying "Have you given tribute to the Candy Princess??"

A small ginger and white cat spots a rolling crayons. And is stalking it with the concentration of a mighty hunter.

"That I have not," an older, rumbled man with a pleasant baritone answers when she gets to his table. "But let me see here..." He digs in his pockets and fumbles in his worn pea coat, before looking askance at something behind Ceilidh's ear. "Ah...pardon may I?" he asks with a gesture towards said ear.

It is passing strange, in this Land of Men, with its strange Door, and its salted sea the scent of lily, that though passing fair, does not bear the Ainulindalë however long Arwen looks upon it. Day fades toward dusk, and the wind's fingers make of her hair rippled ribbons, and yet, even as the stars come out to pray attend, nary a whisper within the waves can be heard.

"You're pretty! Are you a princess?" Ceilidh said as she peered at the elf from a nearby rock. She's smudge with dirt as all small children attract dirt like chicken seed attracts chickens, but her bright red hair still stands out in the starlight.

There's no visible adult nearby at first, but a splotch of red hair is visible just beyond Ceilidh on her rock and a fishing line flicking out.

[OOC: Let's time this to just before Everything happened, so Emcee and Herman would still be working at the Kit Kat Klub.]

There's a brisk knock on the door.

"Emcee, are you in there?" calls a voice in German before the door opens, and a tall, blond, blue-eyed man steps in. He's very handsome (perhaps in a somewhat familiar way, to anyone who's met a certain vampire), long-limbed and lean with an athletic build, highlighted by the fact that he's wearing a vest with no shirt.

"Mein Herr, I--"

He stops short. This is not Emcee's dressing room anymore.

Sinric looks up from the piano and smiles. Then looks again as his smile softens. "Welcome, friend."

Cassian recognizes that accent, its like Emcee's and he turns to the confused man, "He comes here sometimes. Were you looking for him?"

The door opens on the noise of the lower levels of Coruscant as a large Nautolan man enters and looks around.

This isn't where Mast works, but its a cantina so maybe he can find some answers. He starts towards the counter to find a bartender to ask.

"You are not human. I believe all are welcome here, regardless of species. I am Viv."

Viv's social routines might need some tweaking...

There's a bit of recognition from Kale, sitting at the bar. It's a recognition of species as opposed to individual and politely curious. He's wearing a pilot's coat with a Grand Republic Army insignia on the shoulder and a sergeant's stripes, so to speak, underneath.

While he had been heading to the teacher's lounge for more coffee, he hadn't been heading towards a bar. Stopping at the threshold, the man with pale hair who screams college professor is taking off his glasses and polishing them carefully (with a mixture of marshwater and other things; unlike some true bloods, he's not adverse to using simple magics) before placing them back on his face, hiding eyes of a blue not seen without special effects.

"Hmmm...I guess this is that Milliways Quentin was talking about."

[OOC: Walther here is from the October Daye series and is a tylwyth teg. He is wearing a glamour to appear human and his glasses are enchanted to tone down the color of his eyes.]

"Yes! It is! Hi! I'm Ceilidh! Who are you? Who is Quentin?" The questions tumble out of a small girl, around five years old, with a pure County Cork accent. In her arms is a bowl with a sign that says, "Place Tribute for the Candy Princess here" with a few pieces of candy or other treats in it already. The bowl is held up hopefully.

Like Walther, her eyes are a color not usually seen without special effects; green instead of blue and her hair is a brilliant almost blood red that also screams unnatural. Magical. Which they are. No glamour making it that color, but still only magic could make it that color.

Nearby is an adult with the exactly the same shade of red as Ceilidh's, apparently asleep with his feet up on a table. One eye is just a bit open, keeping an eye on her. Rory needs to make sure that she stays out of trouble or needs to rescue an adult she's talking to.

Mast hears the human mention a name, so he probably knows more about this cantina. He smiles as he approaches Walther, his stance open as being intimidating is his work and he likes not having to be, "You know this cantina?"

Today finds a young woman doodling idly in a sketchbook near the fireplace. She's in a green linen gown with just a hint of yellow embroidery around the bottom and sleeves--plain enough, but of excellent cloth and make to those with the eye for it. She appears to be somewhat neglecting the little pile of biscuits next to her.

She also seems perfectly happy to share what she's drawing--or perhaps she's drawing you and the gaze has become noticeable?

Viv, once she notices the attention, turns to stare back. Aside from the stare, she makes a great model as she just doesn't seem to need to move. Regardless, her facial expression seems curious rather than offended.

Cassian is also near the fireplace, working on his datapad and keeps looking up at her and wondering what she's drawing. At one point when their gazes meet, he nods to her.
