Speaking of AUs...who is your character in a high school AU? What about a Wild West AU? What about a DnD campaign AU? A space opera AU?
death_gone_mad: Shhh (conspiracy)

DnD AU Amascut? Easy, same role as she serves in her canon... a suspicious looking villager that might have a suspiciously easy looking quest for you, dear adventurer.

In a wild west (fantasy) AU or space opera, Fairy Fixit would easily be a wacky inventor type, but she wouldn't necessarily be a literal fairy. Maybe still on the short side, though. And with s different name, of course.

High School AU:

Tess is the new biology teacher.

Rose is the shy girl who never talks to anyone, but is seen out at night drinking and partying it up.

Kylo is the quiet, overly serious kid in black everyone hears rumours about.

Creed is the creeper janitor, leering at the girls and yelling at the boys.

Ahsoka
High School AU: She's a jock who's on the fringe of the popular crowd, likely doing gymnastics, diving, and field hockey. She's friendly and doesn't pick on people. Or she could be a skater punk, though this idea comes from Skate Wars and not myself.

Western AU: She's a wandering federal marshall or a Pinkerton agent. She just might bend the law from time to time to get the criminal.

Sabine
High School AU: She was a preppy kid until she came back punk/alternative after a summer break. She still gets straight A's but hates how the teachers treat her like she's suddenly cheating to get them. Ass wipes.

Western AU: She was part of the local law of a boomtown until she finally stopped lying to herself that the rich landowner isn't bending the law to line their pockets and screw over the town and all the surrounding area. Now she's kind of a vigilante trying to figure out how to pull the land owner off his high horse and bring a measure of justice to the town. She also might be related to the land owner/robber baron.

configuration_birdwatcher: Bastion kneels down by some flowers and picks one of them. Ganymede watches from their shoulder. (picking a flower)

High school AU: Quiet, troubled kid with a tragic past and a fearsome reputation they don't entirely deserve. Very fond of animals. Basically the classic secretly-kindhearted teen movie bad boy/girl, I guess, but not really with the black leather jacket semi-goth aesthetic that tends to accompany it. Alternately, an equally taciturn ex-military art or shop teacher.

Wild West AU: I don't know what to suggest because I've never been that into westerns. My knowledge of Wild West character tropes is patchy at best and nothing jumps out at me from what I do know.

D&D AU: Warforged Ranger, I think; ranger fits better than druid. They could be the product of a sinister mage/steampunk inventor, like a Frankenstein's monster type thing, but I prefer the idea of writing a semi-recent war into the campaign setting where one side used a construct army. Though probably on a smaller scale than the Omnic Crisis if the campaign isn't actually supposed to have anything to do with the robot war, as it would kind of steal the focus otherwise. The latter wouldn't change the substance of their backstory too much, it'd just make it more magicky-flavoured instead of sci-fi.

Space opera AU: I can't really think of anything to change, except making it an interplanetary war rather than a planetary war that they were built to fight in.
