I've recently discovered King Princess and am still deciding how much I love them. I know I like them.

I've been working on a playlist for Viv Vision. I'm not sure how much of it is telling her story and how much just seem like songs she'd like. I'm open to new songs though, so feel free to offer suggestions.

My mom wrote a filk of the entire opening number to Hamilton (with some bits slightly rearranged) for my brother's 40th birthday, which is this Friday. I have two verses and my dad and I are accompanying on guitar and ukulele, respectively. I better practice.

I've got a playlist for Wilford that isn't one I've built, but one of Spotify's curated lists. I've found it nearly impossible to build a playlist for this genre, since a lot of my favourite songs within it seem to disappear off Spotify (probably for copyright reasons, tbh).

Florence + The Machine came out with a new album so that means I've been listening to it a lot and over-applying it to my current fandom interests. "Sky Full of Song" has built itself into a Hera song for me, "100 Years" I've kind of made Star Wars-y in general but most especially Last Jedi, and "Big God" very much my Hera/Kanan post-[SPOILER]. I'm currently obsessed with Dessa, especially a song called Fire Drills (YouTube link).

Milliways-wise, Wreak Havoc by Skylar Grey (MCU fanvid link) is definitely an adult Molly song, and is powering the OOM I'm currently working on for her. More generally, the lyric "still not too old to die young" from the Ellie Goulding song Figure 8 is always in my head when writing the Runaways.
