Thursday DE: where did you see it last?

What's something you think your character has forgotten? It can be as serious or silly, metaphorical or literal as you like.

... About half (Or more) of his life.

What happened in 1983, Cecil??

Also, how many interns have died at NVCR.

Also, the previous Voice of Night Vale.

'Cassettes' and '...Best Of?' are tragic episodes.

Tess had her memory wiped twice at the age of five, so she forgets everything before that.

Rose doesn't remember a whole lot of what happened while she was in solitary at Siamare.

Kylo's forgotten how much fun it is to punch Hux.

Creed is near 200 years old. He's forgotten quite a bit.

Hera is the type who will occasionally forget to eat if Chopper or Kanan don't remind her. Kanan will sometimes forget where he put things, but fortunately he doesn't have that many things to keep track of.

More seriously, both Kanan and Hera know they have trouble definitively recalling the faces of people from their past. Hera knows she can't really remember her younger brother's face, as he died when they were both very young, though she can still remember what his voice sounded like. Kanan sometimes can't really recall his friends among the younglings in the Jedi Temple - he remembers their names, but he spent such a long time trying to forget his Jedi past that, in some instances, it worked, and he has trouble bringing it back now.

Wilford forgets names. He doesn't know the names of half the people he's talked to in the bar.

There's a lot he's forgotten as a consequence of his reset, too. Details way far back have faded pretty seriously, and have been replaced with his own blatantly wrong account of events. But since he doesn't have any contact with the people who would be affected by that, it doesn't matter. What does matter is that there are a lot of details where he can't remember which timeline they're from. It's become less of a problem over the years, but every now and then something crops up and bites him in the ass for knowing something he shouldn't.

Viv isn't quite capable of forgetting things, unless there is damage to the data. Still, she has become less aware that emotions bring more than pain and anguish.

Cassidy has spent almost a century doing drugs and drinking hard liquor, so there are a lot of gaps in his memory. Like, the '60s. He has a short attention span and also tends to forget/confuse names and people if he doesn't immediately form a connection with them. He's forgotten how the sun feels on his bare skin without it catching fire. And then there are memories he's deliberately blocked out.

Emcee is also good at blocking things out! And there are parts of his childhood that he's completely forgotten because he's never thought too deeply about them. I think most importantly he can't remember that he spoke Hebrew first before ever speaking German.

I was going to say that Baze has probably forgotten some of the Guardians' prayers (and would never tell Chirrut) but nope, nooope, he remembers them all. ALL.
