Happy Anniversary, guys. We've been around six months. I wandered in here after accidentally stumbling across a link while doing academic research. I never was a fandom person, but now...^_^ How'd you get here?

To some of the best friends a girl can accidentally met on the internet, and a little bit of cheer for some rough times. I love each and every one of you.

ashh was talking about it, urging people to join in mid-late July, I think.

I joined.

I disappeared to start college.

I came back, and David found Charlie and I've been an addict since.

Yep, me too. Hanskitty twisted my arm by saying she would love me for ever if I was Desire. ;)

Of course, I also blame Death and Del!muns, since I was reading here a week before I apped, and was feeling all "OMGSANDMAN!" because of their work. :D

There was a post in Sam's journal, saying his friends had just started this neat multi-fandom RPG and he was going to be playing Sirius Black as the bartender . . .ten minutes later I had created my character journal and was submitting my application. My first post was just after midnight.

And Snow was the first person that said hello to Tonks, I think, that first day. *grins*

I found my way here via Sam, too. I was SO interested, but commented with something along the lines of "but I don't know very many fandoms, what if I SUCK?" and Nny, who I'd never spoken to, pounced on me and convinced me to join.

So, so glad she did.

*winces in memory of my early RP ability or lack thereof*

If you think that was bad, recall that I didn't know Harry Potter cannon back then. I am so, so sorry.

ROFL, you were FINE. Dude, I was so freaked out and such a n00b. And you never once did anything bad to my canon! :D

IIRC, I refered to Tonks as male. Let's all agree that each and every one of us was a hopeless n00b, with the exception of our founding members who left us sleepless from the beginning.

I accidentally stumbled randomly across someone's LJ - Sam's, I think it was - which was linked here. Clicked on the link out of curiosity - never having been a part of any LJ-ness ever, RL or fandom - resisted temptation for a few days and then fell in like a spaceship being sucked into a black hole. *grins*

I was a total RP newbie, but this place just sucked me in. :)

Sometime in early October, I was poking around in the comments of a friend's LJ, started up a conversation in Lara's comments with Nny, was bored and curious and started looking around Nny's LJ, and um kinda apped for Granny very soon after.

I found this at the Middle of july through my friend

thegalallama who found it on Sam's journal, and I read for about a week and then joined and have been addicted ever since and am now the proud owner of 13 characters and a very long run on sentence. *breathes*

Nny posted "I think I had a great idea while I was really drunk last night" or something like that, and I thought: omg panfandom RPG, how cool could that be? And it was even cooler.

It's all Nny's fault. I clearly remember her drunk!post on the subject, and then thinking 'well, it's something to do with Pestilence now that

buggreallethis has died down...'
And then maybe a week later, I got Jane in there. The rest is history, you might say. XD

I don't remember when or how I found the place, but I remember watching it for quite a while before I went and created the

md_donighal and

good_or_awesome journals. And I'd do it again if I had it to do over.

it's all

dramaturgca's fault really. i joined in about mid-july, mid way through moving to a new apartment.

I saw it mentioned on Sam's journal, watched for two weeks in utter fascination, said what the hell and sold my soul.

Been here ever since July 14th, having way too much fun.

Nny was online, we were chatting, the topic of "I'm creating an RPG it'll be cool wanna play huh huh huh?" came up, and we batted around characters for a while before I decided on Lucifer.

Whee, memories.

Selkie was talking on her LJ about this new RPG she was in, and linked to it a couple of times. I resisted for a few days, and then I followed the link. And then I stared, and read the archive, and wibbled briefly about RPing insecurity and then went straight to debating what character to choose.

I think you're the one who dragged me here ... do I recall correctly?

And I said "NO NO NO" and "I already have too many things I'm involved in" and "wow, this place is insane" and "this is actually kind of ... wait, NO" and "wow, there's some good RPers here, it's a shame I can't join" and "I can't think of a good character anyway" and "no, Trinity won't work" and "you know, all these characters really ought to be in therapy" and "omg CORDELIA VORKOSIGAN!" and then it was already too late to resist.

You do indeed recall correctly, and that's about how it went.

Like with so many others, I saw the link at Sam's journal and thought, why not? Sounds like fun.

chaos_pockets, who were talking in their journals about applying ro PeeJee and Aubrey. I had Val's journal made and up in like fifteen minutes after reading the appliction procedure. How far we've all come, really. I -never- expected anything even close to what happened. *sighs*

I was one of those who clicked on a link in Sams LJ, where I was a serial lurker because of his wicked awsome stories...

I'd never RP'ed anything before and found it surprisingly easy to get into. Here I am, five and a half months later and still having a ball!
