Wednesday DE: Feelgood music

Inspired by the event next door that is blasting us with Sinatra: if your charrie throws a party or similar event, what kind of music do they play?

Wilford's record collection has a lot of ska, swing, and jazz of various subgenres. He likes to blast his neighbours with that.

Enjolras: doesn't. Doesn't throw a party, and if he does, doesn't make arrangements for music. His idea of a fun gathering is "hey friends, come on over and let's argue about politics like we do every night"; his idea of party planning is "hey Courfeyrac or Lesgle or Bahorel or literally anyone but me, wanna take point on this? Cool thanks I'm sure you'll do a great job."

Thor, on the other hand, loves a good party! Music-wise, though... If it's in Asgard's palace, I presume there are a number of usual musicians to draw upon, or usual magic-tech background music options. If it's in Milliways or somewhere else with a lot of Earth folks or non-Asgardians, he'd probably go to Bar or delegate it to a friend. I realize this is a non-answer, but I honestly think Thor would appreciate a wide variety of options, so it's a question of what would create the effect he's going for for the other attendees.

Cosette would honestly probably have a piano, and she would play it some and anyone else who wanted to play some music could take a turn, because she's from a year when recorded music didn't exist yet and people expected the party attendees to help make the music, unless it were a fancy enough event for her to have engaged somebody for the purpose (probably for dancing). At Milliways, there's the recorded music option, which is still exciting but also super bizarre to her; I think in any case she'd go with something familiar to her, though. So, fairly conservative music from 1820s/1830s Europe, or more daring music (but still on the fairly tame side) if it were for her husband's wild republican friends.

Kazul probably goes for an enchanted self-playing harp or something.

Doctor Dinosaur plays the least insipid and foolish of your mammal musicians: all Weird Al, all party long, at top volume.
