Since I've been buried in teaching stress all week...
How would your character be as a teacher?
I know there's a lot of ways to read that, from "how are they at explaining things one-on-one" to "okay but high school au chemistry class," so take it how you like!

Cassian in someways does different kinds of education. Intelligence recruiting after all is basically Rebellion Outreach of trust us, talk to us, join us. Then I think that he's also someone who would be a good teacher by how he interacts with Kay, Jyn and Bodhi in canon. He's thoughtful about what he says and is efficient at going, this is what's happening and why. I don't think though that he wants to mentor or teach new people because in the Rebellion, they tend to die which is hard on him. That also happens with informants but there's a tiny bit more space. He knows he shouldn't get attached but Cassian cares.
Charles is defined as a teacher since he is Professor X. He loves working with students and helping mutants figure out their strengths and their place. In Milliways, he's helped teach people to create psychic shields, which is the sort of work he loves doing as he gets to use his skills to help people feel safe.
Quentin wouldn't be a good teacher, he's impatient and I don't think it would work out well.
Sameth in time could be a teacher, but for now he's still figuring out how the Charter works with his work. Once he's more certain, he could teach and probably will so that other people understand some of what he does.
William has a younger brother so I think he has done some casual teaching, and in Milliways he's taught a few people to ride.
Will S. is another who also is kind of a teacher thanks to Milliways and archery. I could see him being a good mentor to new members of Robin's household.
Moist actually wouldn't be a bad teacher, he likes understanding how systems work, that allows him to work around them. And in canon, he ends up explaining things but he wouldn't like the responsibility of making sure someone knows something.
Demeter's better at teaching what she cares about so gardening and baking, she always loves talking about, children too but as a goddess, her experience is unusual. She can get impatient which isn't ideal for a teacher.
Ivan is actually pretty good at explaining things like 'how to deal with Miles', 'how to deal with my mother' and also parts of society since he pays attention. But he can get annoyed quickly at situations where he's going, no, don't do that.
Tumnus is a good teacher, he teaches Lucy about Narnia and I see him as becoming a historian in court.

Sabine seems like she might not have the patience for teaching...but I like the idea of her teaching art to street kids.
Hank, at present, would be a horrible teacher. He'd lose patience when lessons weren't understood and would have terrible classroom control. In a decade or so, with practice, he'll get better. Guiding the classroom rather than controlling it, and learning to adapt lessons to the students and quickly picking up on when to reword the explanation so they get it. I may have written something to this effect. I need to get back to this.
Viv would be a horrible teacher as well, often repeating the same lesson in the same manner, not understanding why it was not being understood. She'd be great for facts, but not understanding as she's still learning herself. She's also unique in that she doesn't understand "learning" as such. If she needs to know something new, she just downloads it from a data-source and then knows it. Sort of like installing a new program or app. It's just there.
Every style of teaching Danny would try he learned from K'un Lun...which is to say he'd be nearly abusive as a teacher. Just no. (He will learn the way he was taught fighting in K'un Lun was abusive but he's not there yet, and to be honest I'm not sure how much I'm going to use what they've shown in canon since it's bad representation for Asians.)
Tybalt is an excellent teacher...if you are a cat. Otherwise, he outsources.

In an AU class, he's definitely the weird elective teacher for a class that people either avoid because it sounds boring, or take because it sounds like an easy A. The kids who take the class because they're interested in it tend to be the only ones who pass because it is an easy A, but only if you can tolerate his bunny-ears approach to teaching it.

Alec would be a patient but demanding teacher. He already helps Izzy and Max with their training. I brought him in as a guidance counselor for AU week, and I think he would be great at that. Later in his canon, he takes on a sort of advisory/diplomatic role with New York's Downworlders. He's good at spotting problems and suggesting solutions.
Eowyn would be an impatient teacher. She would so much rather be out doing than instructing. I think she'd like teaching younger children to ride. In an AU, I might make her an elementary school teacher or (later in her canon) a school nurse.
George would be a great teacher! Until he got bored and the kids got bored, so he took them all out to the playground. He'd be a good PE teacher, of the not-evil variety. Lots of games and teamwork. Tennis, rugby, soccer... In an AU, he'd be the gym teacher for sure.
Orpheus has been a teacher! He's horrible at it! He expects perfection at all times! Also, how do you teach divine gift? NOBODY IS EVER GOOD ENOUGH AND YOU ARE ALL MAKING HIS EARS BLEED.
...he was very selective in his students when he made a living as a music tutor.
In an AU, he'd be the band teacher/choir director who was INCREDIBLY hard on his students but also produced stunning high school bands/choirs.

He's also very patient, and he's always willing to work at making sure the other person gets it; breaking things down, simplifying or coming in from different angles that they might better understand.
When it comes to teaching things that aren't textbook knowledge, though, he's kind of awful at it. Mostly this relates to his abilities and hero work.
Just about everything Barry can do with his speed he stumbles upon by accident or in the moment of necessity. Later on, when it comes to him trying to train other speedsters, or explain the things he does, he fails. Sometimes hard.
His speed becomes such a part of him, and it's such an indefinable thing, that he doesn't really know or think about what he can do. He just does it, and that is supremely unhelpful to those looking to him for help.
As he matures, though, he becomes a much better mentor and while he's never really great at the physical/power aspect of training, he is very, very good at the parts of what actually makes a hero; morality and codes, what's important and why, and believing in yourself and your team. The 'good guy' part, Barry is great at teaching others that.

Emcee does have a lot of patience to teach, even if it's not his first inclination to do so. He's just not the type to step forward for that sort of thing. But if someone earnestly wants to learn something from him, whatever it may be, he'll take the time to show them what they need to know. *cough George Lovelace cough*
Cassidy really shouldn't be teaching anything to anybody. His explanations are rambly and wordy and his accent is hard to understand, plus he's not that good at anything except rolling joints and junkie chemistry. However, for the kind of guy he is, he's remarkably patient and likes to be encouraging and positive.
Pam is not teaching you shit. She is a bitch with zero patience who hates having that kind of responsibility. I'm looking forward to when she makes her own baby vampire and has to teach her not to kill people. Ahaha.
I'm sure Floki has had apprentices who have helped him build fleets of ships. He would have had to instruct them on his methods and designs, and of course their work would be closely inspected. He's a perfectionist, and if he feels something was done wrong, the whole thing would have to be scrapped and be redone himself. So not just any old boat builder would go to him to learn, they'd have to be serious about their craft.

Fairy Fixit talks and talks and lectures and lectures. There is only a certain type of student that can learn that way.

Cosette would be really good at teaching young kids, I think. Elementary school teacher AU! Right now, she wouldn't be anywhere near as comfortable with older kids, but she's also basically a peer to them; give her 10 years and she might be. I think she'd always find it especially rewarding to work with the younger set, though.
Thor is great with teaching physical stuff! He'd be an amazing coach.
He's... not that good at teaching more traditionally academic stuff, though. It's not where his interest usually lies, at least not in terms of delving into something in detail, and he's not necessarily great at explanations (though he's certainly willing to try.)
Kazul would be a great strict-but-fair teacher for some kind of fairly academic subject -- the kind who can come off as kind of scary, and then you catch onto her sense of humor and the fact that she actually does care. Alternately, she'd be a good principal or something. For tutoring, she'd be okay for the right kind of self-motivated person, but she's better at giving a brief explanation and then some book recs than at really sitting down for a long stretch with someone.
Doctor Dinosaur as any kind of teacher is, uh, memorable!

Fantine would be good with nursery school or pre-K kids, but not much older than that.
Garnet is very good on any subject she knows, especially with older kids or adults. She is strict but fair and no-nonsense, but in a slightly off-kilter way that is likely to come off as absolutely hilarious to kids who are developing a sense of humor.
Combeferre is really amazing with older kids or adults who want to learn the subject, and impatient and exasperated with younger kids. Why won't they listen to reason?
Jehan Prouvaire is good at one-on-one teaching, and is overcome with shyness in front of a classroom unless it's something he's really passionate about.

In comics canon Steve has been a substitute art teacher at Xavier's school. Movie!Steve is a patient teacher, particularly with helping people work through their mistakes.
Sherlock... it depends. He'd probably be better with kids than teens or adults, but he has shown himself to be good at the Socratic method and is happy when a student reaches the conclusion he himself was working toward.
