Monday DE: Inspired by real life events

How is your character(s) when they don't get enough sleep?

Cecil's sense of urgency plummets, and his self-preservation instincts go on vacation. Sun is possibly exploding? Eh. Station filling with deadly gas? Boooooring.

It is for Night Vale's safety that the interns learn how to make coffee Cecil will drink, and keep his mug full.

Wilford has only recently started to get a decent amount of sleep on a regular basis. Before he got his jaw fixed, his normal from the time he was 16 was cat naps here and there, until his body fell out from under him, with his every waking minute spent being high-strung and obscenely irritable. He still has trouble getting to sleep, but now that he can actually breathe staying asleep is no longer an issue. These days, he finds it a lot easier to ignore things and to just walk away (unless those things are named Jim).

Of course, he's had just enough time to get used to sleeping like a normal human, and now that's all gone right out the window again since he's chasing after a three year old.

Tess never gets enough sleep, which is why she's always grouchy.

Rose goes literally insane, because Thorn comes out when Rose sleeps and if that doesn't happen for a while, or only briefly, Thorn lets her know about it.

Kylo is generally well rested, either through sleep or meditation, but of course he can be a bit high strung if he's been lax.

Creed doesn't need much sleep, though if he's up for more than a few days he becomes more prone to acts of random violence.
configuration_birdwatcher: Bastion looking down at Torbjörn as he gets in their personal space with a button and tries to goad them into shooting him. Ganymede watches him with great distrust. (i would prefer not to)

Unconscious, I guess, since they avoid sleep mode as much as possible. (They don't have dreams, but they don't like being unaware of what's happening around them.) It's not strictly necessary as long as they can charge their battery while awake, it's just a power-saving measure. However, they are capable of passing out from exhaustion if they run their battery down completely, and if they have fuel in the tank when this happens they'll enter sleep mode while they charge from their power cells.

Emcee usually craves some uppers, but since he's off drugs right now, he would just be humorless and snippy and would rather slink away for a nap and not deal with anyone.

Cassidy would also like some uppers, and lots of them! Barring that, he'd be grouchy and irritable and his laziness would increase tenfold.

If Pam doesn't sleep, blood leaks from her eyes, ears, and nose, so you know damn well she's going to be pissed.

Floki gets a bit more manic and unpredictable. He definitely needs his cat naps throughout the day if he's working on something important.
