Friday DE: I reject your harsh reality and built a blanket fort.

 Today Milliways is changed. All the booths have blankets draped across them. All the tables have the chairs turned around to support their own blanket forts. The lights are dim, and within each blanket fort there is the soft warm glow of the portable light.

It’s been a week for me, so comfort post! Tag in with your pups. Tag in with new pups. Tag in with pups you'd never app. Tag in as yourself. Talk about whatever. Fourth wall breakage to the max.

Rose thinks this is a grand idea. She crawls along until she finds a nice spot, then sits cross-legged, eating a sandwich.

Cassian's at first confused but then smiles at this new arrangement. His last mission went well but worries him, so he orders a caf and a favorite pastry before finding a booth. He ends up with his legs pulled up and watching the quiet Bar over his datapad.

Cool! Enzo has fetched the comic stash from the treefort and is reading under a table; both the table itself and its benches are being used as shelving.

Those mad cackling and thudding on floorboards sounds? Those are the sounds of a (technically) adult man running around in socked feet wearing a laser tag vest and carrying a plastic gun.

Check that; Two grown men running around in socks, shooting at each other, ducking and hiding inside and around all the forts and having a blast while doing it.

Because that's what one does in a blanket fort city. Obviously.

They can just run around chasing each other, but if anyone else wants to play there are two big boxes of guns and strap on vests near the bar.

One red. One blue.
