Monday DE: Seriously, all day?

 Your pup gets to spend the whole day in training for something they know vaguely well but haven't really used in a number of years. How do they feel about this?

Guess who's spending all day today and tomorrow in HTML/Dreamweaver training?

He’s wondering why an intern can’t be doing it. Isn’t that what they’re there for?

Option A: he's visiting Calderon and somehow gets roped into helping one of his cousins with sheep. Feels embarrassingly out of practice, but it's kind of nice to be doing something, like, hands-on and basic and boring. And also he has time to explain about that time he was irresponsible and accidentally stopped a treason plot, so like, be responsible about sheep but also remember there are more important things and not all mistakes are unsalvageable. Also, finish what you started, and bring the sheep in, even if it takes a while. So... nostalgic, and also really glad to not be wrestling with sheep that are notoriously bad-tempered.

Option B: It's date night with Kitai and she's mentoring him in breaking and entering. He's still better at lockpicking than she is, but she's the better thief and burglar. It's a constant competition and also he's the bloody emperor but nope, date nights involve low-key doing crimes. They don't actually steal shit, just, like, break in. (... unless he accidentally picks a target with, like, damaging documents and decides eh, he'll save a Cursor the trouble of picking it up later.)

So idk, again, he feels embarrassingly out of practice, I guess, and also very smug about having lots of options and tools and that he's out of practice but still well above the normal caliber of burglar. (and also worked up because Kitai is hot breaking into things, okay)

Whatever it is, Sahaal will be tetchy. Not angry, but grumpy and petty and grousing about having to learn something again that he mastered decades ago.

But, ultimately, he'll get down to it. Because although he'll gladly bitch about it all the while, Sahaal's not the sort of person to shy away from hard work. Even if he thinks it's pointless.

This is almost certainly some sort of combat drill overseen by Winston and Athena, since the closest thing to battle they've done in years is fighting off wild animals once in a while. It's awkward. And tense, since they're basically probing the edges of what they can do without activating their combat protocols.

Khadgar would probably appreciate the refresher, but must they really spend the whole day on it? He has a great many other things to take care of.

Gabriel is impatient and snarky throughout the training, and probably sneaks out early.
Reaper doesn't show up at all.

Cassian has to do some sort of first-aid course, because the medics are going to remind some of their operatives that getting injured is bad, stop it. I think Kay would be highly amused by this while Cassian is sitting there going I know this and trying to do other work whenever he can. Since its not that he doesn't use it, its the field versions versus actually doing it. Actually this could be an interesting OOM idea.

Quentin has to have an etiquette course with the other pages/squires, he's so bored so he uses his resting noble face.

Ivan has to go to something on proper protocol which he's known since he was ten. The teacher keeps asking him for advice, its awkward. Actually that would be fun to write up, I'm going to hold onto this idea.

I'm not sure about the others.
