Digging into my bag of tumblr askbox characterization questions...

How’s your character's etiquette? Do they hold the door for people behind them? How do they handle handshakes and other kinds of typical contact? Does their language change or become more formal when speaking to strangers? To their elders? To their superiors?

In his day to day, it's not something Wilford thinks about. He'll slam doors on people's faces without even noticing they're there.

If he needs to put on an act for something, he'll be the most polite, gracious person in the world. And then afterwards complain about how exhausting it is.

A major part of Fairy Fixit's job is customer service oriented, however the service is teleportation network maintenance and she isn't a low-level employee by any means so that filters who she has to deal with a lot. However, she often works out in the open so curious passersby will stop and ask her stuff. And she'll answer with a deluge of technobabble.
Anyhow, this is just a long winded way of saying that being polite is part of her job. She travels to other worlds and realms to do her work so she has to keep a long list of social etiquette and protocols in her head. She's usually good with it unless it involves keeping quiet or performing religious rituals.

Amascut can be brusque on her own, but she is so good at pretending to be anybody else that she can turn up her politeness and attention to etiquette quite quickly as the situation calls for it. After all, she had lots of time to observe how her worshippers and souls newly arrived to the afterlife treated her and eachother with respect and deference. Before her exile anyhow.

Wilson has good manners when he remembers them - he was probably taught formal and semi-formal etiquette by parental insistence - but when he isn't thinking about it, which is fairly often, he can be pretty rude and insensitive.

Bastion's language processing software covers common gestures, so they know what a handshake is and could manage a left-handed, kind of stiff and awkward one. (Mostly they try to avoid touching other people, but they're okay with doing it by request.) They use "please" and "thank you" as a modifier and a tone-appropriate acknowledgment respectively when making a request or receiving a favour, but don't really change registers based on who they're talking to.

Gabriel's etiquette and behavior change completely based on where he is and who he's addressing. In the bar he's been fairly easy going because none of these people are his superiors or subordinates that he has to put on a show for. It makes him rather fond of Milliways. In his own world he's more of a hardass and the image of himself that he presents to SEP is a man that rarely smiles and is known for getting shit done. He just has no reason to be that guy in the bar, so he isn't.

As Reaper he relaxes only a little in the bar. He's a little too paranoid about people from his world finding out who he was and it's far too easy for that info to filter around. So he is maybe less of a dramatic asshole in bar but the moment he has to make a choice about being helpful or being a dick he chooses the latter. He doesn't really want people to like him here. It's asking for trouble down the road and he really can't afford sentimentality in his current position.
