Hi gang,

Is anyone else putting up a Christmas-ish-time party post, or would people like me to put one up run by Life Support that people can hop into as they desire?

If the LS party is a yes, I will put it up slightly before Christmas to avoid clashing with Emcee's New Year's Bash.

The only thing that I was planning was setting up the extremely combustible Yule Goat closer to the solstice and letting it turn into a bonfire post once the goat burns down.

But now that I am actually writing it down I realize I'll be travelling that night. If I set up the goat, would you like to have life support take over the impromptu bonfire party?

I'm fine with combining the two events - you do the goat and I'll start a subthread with food further down? What date were you planning to set up?

I am thinking on the 20th sometime after work. But that will be right around midnight in England.

That will give other Millifolk time to come in and set the goat on fire, at least, maybe.

It may be less confusing if the goat burning and the bonfire party were placed in separate posts, so that the party isn't hidden below a post about a giant straw goat?

That works fine for me, I'm usually in bed by midnight but if you get the chance to give me a message to let me know once you've got the post up I'll get the bonfire/food up ASAP so they're close together on the front page.
