Friday DE: It's a talent I have
Early DE is early cause I wanna sleep in tomorrow...
This one comes from
mogget_cat , unofficially at least, by way of Discord chat. What is your character's unofficial super power?
And to clarify, we're not talking obvious abilities, like Super Man's strength or Jedi force skills. No, we're talking about things more like Super Man's compassion or Iron Man's fortune. Things that might not win a fight, but will win the battle or challenge.

perfect cinnamon roll sparkleshis unwavering faith in the inherent goodness of the world (... he arguably is the inherent goodness of his world, but-- anyway)Evelyn: Her unwillingness to just give up and die, and real capacity for compassion which helps her make a bunch of allies and friends.
Lois: Integrity
R2-D2: His personality, largely sourced by a distinct lack of memory wipes. And very bad luck to always be present for things.
Anakin: Relentlessness. Or possibly poor life choices.
Tavi: Explicitly in canon, it's his genius brain, particularly his capacity for tactical cleverness in out-thinking situations where the deck is stacked against him. This is often expressed as an ability to find emotional weaknesses and exploit them for physical, military, or political advantages. Probably second to that is his ability to make friends or allies, including sometimes of enemies.

Fairy Fixit... uhhh... her ability to overwhelm people with details?

Thurlow's is stubbornness. They have an in-game minor stat to measure this (well, "Steadfast"); it's at 14, and for perspective most such stats become ridiculously difficult to raise at 8.
Bastion's is adaptability, I think.

And this is all true, and I think qualifies for this - but also Thrawn's a creepy jackass who says it in the most creepy jackass way possible.

Gabriel/Reaper's is perseverance.

On the other hand, I remember an interview with Keitaro Motonaga where he remarked that what sets Yamato apart from the people around him is that he's extraordinarily kind, and while I don't think it holds up that he's necessarily the kindest of the Chosen (among the 01 and 02 gangs, that'd be Ken, the actual bearer of the Crest of Kindness; and just among the main eight, it'd probably be Sora), he is almost absurdly empathetic and perceptive, and he is probably the only one of the group who feels any kind of compassion towards their enemies, often to the point of having an almost friendly relationship with them.
And I'd argue that that capacity for empathy is why he's such a hyper-skilled battle commander: He very easily and very quickly sees through to the cores of the people he meets -- and for his friends, that means he very clearly understands how to utilise their strengths and moderate their weaknesses, and for his enemies, it means he very quickly figures out how to apply pressure to their weak spots and bait them into making mistakes.
