So who all's around today? I know a lot of folks are probably busy with family and all. What are y'all up to?

I'm trying to rest up between my run of seven shows in three and a half days and six shows in four days plus set strike (I'm in a show right now, long story), so like, I don't really have brain left. Also, I played with my Hannukah present last night and it is A+. I am having trouble linking to the picture so I'll stick it up later if I have energy to make it work.

Free for all, just relax and hang out with anyone else hanging out on the comm today, and a happy holiday to those who celebrate it.

I'm in Denmark and as we celebrate Christmas Eve, today was for tidying, a trip to the Zoo and tired and grumpy kids.

It's a normal day here. Husband is at work, I pulled a late night yesterday so I slept in and will be getting to work soon as well, since nothing I would have liked to do today is open. After a few small things today, I'm taking the rest of the year more or less off.

Tonight, we shall be making a Christmas falukorv for dinner. Which is like any other falukorv, except today happens to be Christmas. We do Yule instead, and for that we had a fun day out. We went out for hibachi for lunch, and then saw Spider-man and had dinner at the cinema (and at some nebulous point during the day, I threw out my hip). Normally for Yule, I'll roast up some goat or something, but time and money got in our way.

I’m just checking in as I move from house to house for various celebrations. Maybe off to the zoo tomorrow but uncertain as many of us are sick, but if not I’ll just veg at home.

I am visiting my parents and eating some foods I miss. And just happy to be around older folk who haven't had their brains rotted out by a certain 24/7 news channel. The rest of my family still hasn't arrived yet so it is quiet still.

I received seven pairs of socks! Also some Don't Starve figurines and a Lego set and some other stuff, but the socks were a highlight.

I had a pretty low key holiday which was nice. Went to Mother-in-Law's for brunch, played lots of Uno, and then we went for Japanese for dinner and I had ramen. We also discovered California is weird and doesn't have Chinese places that stay open on Xmass like the East Coast....or at least the online and fictional East Coast.

I also got gifted a year's subscription with Masterclasses.com and expect to have a creative writing class taught by Margaret Atwood and another by Judy Blume under my belt by year's end. I'm also eyeing one by Aaron Sorkin.
