Your character is confronted with the remnants of a bowl of cake mix or similarly delicious substance (in my case just now, it was freshly-whipped Baileys Double Cream).

On a scale of 'sticking their head right inside to get every last drop' to 'just wash it up and put it away neatly'*, what do they do?

Alternatively: how do they normally see the New Year in? And would they rather do it differently?





*Spoiler alert: I stuck my head in. I don't believe in the concept of shame as applying to delicious food.

Bastion: Unable to consume delicious cake batter. Samples the scent with their aerosolised chemical sensor array, then either puts the food-caked bowl back where it was unaltered or washes the bowl and returns it to storage, depending on how at home they are in this particular kitchen.

Thurlow: Normally they'd rummage around for a spoon or spatula or kitchen implement of some sort, especially the one used to mix the tasty dessert, because using their fingers or tongue would be too undignified. In the grip of the Unaccountably Peckish menace quality, they'd eat the bowl along with its contents.

Aradia: Runs her finger along the inside of the bowl to get the tasty goop, maybe licks the rim. She's difficult to shame but her hair is long and voluminous so she would rather not get sticky sugary stuff in it.

Cirava: They have fairly tall horns, so they can't get their face all the way to the bottom of the bowl anyhow. They lick the rim and scoop the rest out with their fingers.

Wilson: Sticks his head right in there. Canon gives me a very clear picture of what he would do in this situation. Possibly gets a glob of frosting in his hair, to his horror, and drops everything to go wash it out.

Hmm. I am the type to look for the chef or baker that left the bowl, give the bowl at least a finger wipe, and then leave the rest for someone else to clean up. I have the lazies. But how do my pups differ?

Fairies have sweet tooths so if it is something sweet Fairy Fixit would find a spoon and smaller bowl to collect what she can in order to make something later. And leave the rest for someone else.

Amascut would only be interested if it were something savory. If it was, then she would look for some sort of flatbread to sop it up with.
