It's officially 2019 by Atlantic Standard Time, and I'm bound to fall asleep again due to the cold I'm fighting, so:

What plots and plans are you looking forward to in Milliways in 2019? Or more generally in life, if you've any plans you're feeling like sharing with an internet community?

I'm neglecting Eden a little right now as I try to quickstep Yamato and Gabumon through the latter half of an expanded Chapter 4 of Tri. Like, Chapter 4 kind of gets the worst of Tri's terribly compressed plot, with what should really be a thirteen to twenty episode storyline stuffed into four episodes -- so I'm looking forward to Mways giving me the chance to stretch it out a fair bit and give Yamato more of a coming-into-his-own-as-Taichi's-replacement arc before that particular rooster comes home to roost in Chapter 5.

But I'm also looking forward to when it's done, and I get to take SmolYam through the Odaiba arc of 01, which is by far the best arc of 01 and might yield some good opportunities to get people from Mways involved, since the Battle of Odaiba is basically a big, island-wide brawl with plenty of opportunity for saving people, and where the Digimon enemies range in power level from 'can be taken out by a determined child's fists' to 'invulnerable, city-wrecking demigod.'

I have an app I'm thinking real hard about for the next cycle. I want to do it because lol. I'm not sure I'll ever have the time to devote to it though.

That said, I've completely rearranged my work schedule, starting after tomorrow, to have reliable time off. So, we'll see. (I'm doing a big event tomorrow, which will take up all my time and leave me a hollowed out husk by the end of it.)

I also really want to take this guy through canon. I may stay up tonight and ring in the new year by catching up on OOMs so I can kickstart that. The missing pieces of his canon that were supposed to happen over the summer were vaguely addressed today and have been confirmed to be happening at some point in the next few months. Depending on how the next few instalments go, I may or may not bring a character back from the dead. Or I may not have to, because canon may do it for me. Of course, then it may completely derail me again, so I don't want to get too caught up with everything, in case I need to veer off suddenly once more. (Nothing concrete was said, but I've seen enough behind the scenes talk to know who was supposed to be involved with the next part. Right after that spoiler got dropped to backers, that person started going in for what became almost monthly emergency surgeries, and the project has been lowkey presumed shelved ever since. But if they're talking about it publicly again, I'm assuming they're working on either finding time to shoot, or finding ways to shoot around her.)

Both sending Cirava to Wilford's world and introducing Wilson to the bar got pushed back because Everything Takes Longer In Late December, so, that.

I'd also like to progress Wilson through some of his canon and reintroduce Thurlow at some point during the upcoming year.

I have some pretty big plots to take care of. First I need to get through the next bit of True Blood canon so that Pam and Eric can go back to normal and return to the bar. Then, I have to get Emcee to America, which means herding some superheroes and other supernatural beings through his door. He most likely won't be back in the bar for a while as I conjure up some world-building OOMs that I hope will be somewhat historically accurate.

As for RL plans, I know it's a long away away still, but I want to go to DragonCon. It'll be my first time, and I have secret cosplay plans in the works. Other than that, I seriously need to get back into photography.

I have stories to finish for both Jay and Sinric but I'll get to that. I need to make some decisions about some of my less often played characters, if I retire them or not.

Personally, I'm gearing up for Star Wars Celebrations in April and a trip to New Year beforehand. And very much looking forward to checking out Club Cummings with Emcee's mun.

Personally, I'm working on getting my piano chops back, and with any luck I'll get to see (and evidently hear, whut?) the Northern Lights this year.

Game wise, I'd like to:

Get Jessica Drew active in Bar and through to what I think of as her second solo series (the one that ran from 2014-2015).

Get Danny through season 01 of Iron Fist. Maybe plot Defenders with Batty, and look forward Luke Cage season 02 and Iron Fist season 02. After that, I get free reign since Netflix canceled the series. I'm thinking I'll be stealing from Fraction's run and go for the Heavenly Cities tournament, which might result in freeing some K'un Lun people and reestablishing K'un Lun...and maybe even bring in Pei (From the Immortal Iron Fists comic). (This will take some planning with Batty since I think we should align our boys even if Netflix has cut them loose.)

Dog: Just more play. She doesn't have canon for me.

Ahsoka and Sabine...need to come up with a plan for Ahsoka (I'm finding I have more fun playing her in Rebels era than Clone Wars) and hopefully play Sabine more. I'd love to look for places to slip in my own canon between actual canon.

With Hank, I am hoping Dark Phoenix will do interesting things for him cause right now I don't have a lot of urge to play him.

Sam Wilson...might be time to let him go. He wasn't always the loudest voice and now he's gone quiet.

Viv I'd like to get her to the cross over with the Avengers at least, by the end of the year. Should be doable.

Tybalt, figure out why he's not speaking up and get him through "Ashes of Honor".

I also still have an urge to play a rogue-type who uses magic, but I haven't come across the right fit yet.

And for real life:

Continue writing my original works. I'm thinking of joining getyourwordsout to help with this.

Continue drawing for me, to the point were I'm more comfortable just drawing rather than drawing the "right" way. I have fun things in my head I'd like to get out and share.
