Day to day, any weather can be used as a sufficient excuse to stay inside with the right kind of sour attitude.

If he's chasing a story, he will have no problem walking into hell if that's what it takes.

I am sure you all have seen the cutest nope ever meme. It isn't like Amascut would let snow stop her, but just like that cat that left a single pawprint in the snow before returning inside, snow would make her reconsider her plans.

As for Fairy Fixit, she hates wind.

Usually Ganymede has problems with heat, cold, or heavy rain (or hailstorms, the Worst Precipitation) long before Bastion does, and they're not going to stay out long without him. However, having been built in central Europe and not intended to travel the world, they aren't designed to operate below about -20 or above 40 degrees Celsius. (0 to 100 Fahrenheit is about the same approximate range.) If it's too cold they can freeze up and stop functioning, and if it's too hot they eventually get addled from overheating, possibly to the point of serious damage.

(Unfortunately for Gabe, the Bastion units built in the Detroit omnium are almost certainly better insulated and won't just freeze solid in the midwestern winter. Similarly, the ones from the Australian or Nigerian omnium probably have better cooling systems.)

Wilson does not have the option to nope out of the outdoors unless he wants to sit in his tiny one-person tent until the weather goes away. Which is awful, because summer is oppressively hot and winter is oppressively cold and spring is oppressively wet. Early spring is when "sit in the tent until the weather goes away" is most tempting, however, because it's still bitterly cold but now it's raining profusely and being soaking wet makes the cold worse and it absolutely ruins his hair.

Also sometimes it rains frogs, which then try to kill him. And anything else that looks at them funny, which can be hilarious when they end up fighting one of the giant nesting geese-with-moose-heads.

Thurlow hates false-summer. It's a humid, muggy heat, accompanied by a blanket of fungal spores that give almost everyone atrocious hayfever and swarms of marsh-gnats. Swimming in the Unterzee isn't much of a relief because that still means you have to go outside. (Also the Unterzee is creepy and full of monsters.)

Most weather on Alternia is murderously harsh. The rain is acidic enough that a human caught unprotected in a storm could die from it in less than an hour (this is one of the many bad endings of Hiveswap Friendsim). A lowblood troll would probably also die, but slower, being more adapted to the planet. Highbloods are tough enough that they'd probably be fine, though it's unlikely to be good for their skincare regimes (or their facepaint, in the case of purplebloods). Also the sun scorches the shit out of you if you go outside on a clear day, which is why everyone's nocturnal. Except for jadebloods, who handle the sun just fine.

God, no it isn't and due to the plow going all around my car and then all the ice, I'm not getting into work today. Since I was out there far too long trying to dig my car out and I can usually get my car out, but hell no. My boss can sympathize and be disappointed all she wants, I know my car and myself. Needed that rant out.

Cassian, I think its either heat that saps your energy or a certain kind of cold, where as someone from a cold planet, he just knows its too much.

Ellen still has fits of SKY OH GOD SKY WHY IS THE CEILING SO FAR AWAY WHERE ARE THE WALLS AAAAAGH, so you could probably say that being outside is enough to make her nope out of outside. A major reason she likes wearing power armor is because it puts metal walls between her and the GREAT BIG OPEN- she's basically walking around inside a portable Vault. The single worst 'I am in conditions I did not want and do not want and never ever want to be in again' she has ever had involved a spacewalk from one part of an alien starship to another; that was the experience of being outside EVERYTHING, EVER, with only a feeble little two hundred year old spacesuit between her and OUTSIDE EVERYTHING, EVER. She will figure out how to vibrate through walls and disappear like Kitty Pryde if she is asked to spacewalk again.

I'm in Australia, we're having a heatwave. When we say heatwave, we mean it!

This is Jay's reaction to the sort of weather I'm living in is this.
