Walking away from a heated argument in order to cool off.
Yes, it sounds sane and healthy, especially after you find out that it was so heated because she was opposed to bringing home a group of warriors after they just ritualistically murdered one of their own right in front of her.
The bad thing is that she went hiking up an active volcano and right into the lair of a developmentally disabled elder goddess. Waking up an elder goddess was unintentional but still, it becomes Amascut's whole tragic backstory.
It's probably still the Jureimon Thing in the latter part of 01. The nervous breakdown that's been brewing for about 43 episodes at that point finally hits after a bunch of their friends have been brutally murdered, and when Yamato's at his lowest, one of the bad guys approaches and preys on his mental state to convince him to challenge Taichi, which he does, and when Taichi refuses he forces the issue by threatening to kill him.
So they fight (both by beating each other up and with their fully evolved, Ultimate-level Digimon). Yamato clearly intends it to be a 'once one of us is the decisive winner, we stop' thing, but since they're both deep, deep in the grips of trauma-induced breakdowns, Jureimon predicts that they won't be able to stop themselves from beating each other to death, and he seems to be right, especially because the two of them just keep escalating. None of the other kids can separate them, and it eventually requires the intervention of Homeostasis to pull them apart.
In the aftermath, the group fractures because of it, with Yamato leaving on his own, Mimi and Jyou splitting off to form their own group, and Taichi, Sora, Koushiro, Takeru, and Hikari forming their own group as well. They remain split for the next five or six episodes, with the indirect fallout of that being Leomon's (temporary) death, Yamato nearly getting swallowed up by the Dark Ocean, and Taichi nearly dying.
