Let's do another round of fic today, but let's mix things up by having AU type fic. I'm thinking genre mash-ups, maybe get a prompt and at least two genres to mash up together? Or just make your own mashup with the prompt you get. Who knows how this will work. :D

It was never his quest, that wasn't his role. Jyn kept watching him, expecting more of him, but she was the hero. He knew what heroes looked like, angry and determined, daring the world to take them on.

She didn't see it yet, she still thought of herself as one more thief but he knew. It was beginning to unfurl in front of them leading to her father because family was always at the heart of quests.

He would do what he always did, smooth the way, watch her back and then when the time came disappear into the shadows. After all he was only another rogue.
