So my tenth Milliversary was this weekend. That was kind of wild to contemplate.
What keeps your character returning to Milliways time after time? Or you, the player?

For my various characters, its a place of safety and for many of them someplace where certain worries don't follow them in. Sameth doesn't have to worry about being prince first. Cassian doesn't have to be a spy for a time.
Then there's also the friendships, I love that this aspect exists in and out of character, finding people that get you.

Me: At a base level, this is the only place I have to role play or that I feel comfortable playing online. I also love the connections I've made. The people who play and the stories they make are great reads. It also is great practice for writing and getting character voice down, to the point where I am working on writing my first original work, rather than play or fanfic. Which is both exciting and terrifying.

Molly - the milkshakes. Plus a break from whatever ridiculous nonsense is going on outside her door (in adultMoll's case, substitute parenthood...).
Snow Leopard Woman - relentless curiosity, honestly. They say it killed the cat, but she's not too concerned on that score.
Victoria - relief from boredom.
McGonagall - frequently, ditto. Even at Hogwarts, there's only so much homework-marking and detention-monitoring a woman can take.
War - the endless possibilities to cause trouble. And the brawls are infrequent but great.
Coulson - the coffee's pretty good. And it's a good way to see certain of his colleagues when he's out in the field.
Raoul, Poe, BB-8 - just because I make them come back, honestly! They all quite like the bar but they're not as yet particularly attached to it. Raoul in particular has a pretty A+ life outside the bar, so he can get along more than happily without it. Although it's sometimes nice to get a shower when he's out in the field.
