Friday DE: I saw it on main street
In my neighborhood there is an empty lot, which is really weird for the Bay Area's hyper inflated real estate market. Having recently reread the latest book in the Toby Daye series, I can't help wondering what secret of the Fae is hiding there every time I drive by.
With this in mind, what reminders of canon, or flights of fancy, do you see in your travels?

Falcone Plumbing, which if you are familiar with any Gotham canon, but especially the Gotham TV show, is a perfect front for one of the big crime families.
Every once in a while I see a Nuka-Cola van on my commute home. It is very worn looking, painted in a red primer and looks like it just came home from Burningman. And every time I wish I could snap a pic for Camwyn.
I also occasionally see a motorcyclist who has a Captain America painted helmet and a round backpack that is styled like the shield.

When Munnin (Jay/Sinric/Bodhi-mun) came to visit, I took her on a small journey through the East Village where we stopped in a couple of thrift stores. We picked out clothing that we thought our pups would love. One special garment was a white coat of magical iridescent fabric that would have suited Sinric or Emcee (or Cecil Palmer, shout-out to Cecil-mun).
And of course the existence of Club Cumming reminds me of Emcee all day every day. (I'm basing Emcee's plans of opening up his own club on this, so any resemblance may or may not be coincidental.) Munnin and I danced to songs that I had actually included on Emcee's New Year's Eve dance party playlists, so that was pretty awesome.

There's a 4th century BCE Roman mosaic from Turkey in the next building over where I'm temping.
And I'm not even at a museum, so this is really quite unusual.
I guess you could call that reminding me of my canon.
