Friday DE: Speaking of AUs

 Milliways is now a weird corporation AU, think Night Vale mashed up with The Office. People there, usually not management, have taken to lining their cubicles with things to ward off either the management or the ennui or perhaps the existential dread. Who knows what lurks in the hearts of people.

What does your character line their cubicle with?

(Inspired by a person at my office who has their cubicle lined with various mini rubber ducks.)

Oh damn, I am flipping the prompt. Stupid brain.

Amascut is middle management and the reason why so many employees decorate their cubicles with cat figurines. Because of this she can't really manage the employees for whom she is responsible but upper management can't seem to get rid of her. No one knows how she keeps them away. Anyone who has tried to see the inside of her office has disappeared.

She also has the habit of stealing other people's food from the fridge and loudly complaining about how hangry she is while stalking the cubicles. Damn the fool that taught her about 'hangry'.

Fairy Fixit's cubicle has gradually become a leafy grotto; a wonderful haven of non-stale air. But oh god, the teeth. Teeth everywhere, with sigils and runes carved into the enamel. Some teeth are obviously non-human. She's an amazing computer support tech, and very friendly and refreshingly non-judgemental, but there are rumors that the teeth in her office are from problematic users.

Those non-human teeth, though.

Figurines, models, and other little inanimate decorations of birds. (I actually have two of these on my desk right now - painted foam ones around five inches long, they go with the Bastion gijinka cosplay - but they're outnumbered by the LEGO. And the spiders. And the Don't Starve funko pops.)
