Morning, everyone.

Jung proposed that there were twelve universal character archetypes that appear frequently in mythology and fiction. Which archetype (or combination of archetypes) best fits your pup and why?

Amascut: mostly Rebel/Outlaw, with a little of the Hero. She sees herself as the hero, of course.

Fairy Fixit: mostly the Creator, with the Orphan/Everyman a strong second. A little bit of the Rebel/Outlaw too

Klaus is the Jester, with a hint of the Magician later in canon.

Bastion's the Explorer. Some people read them as the Innocent, but that's not it at all.

Wilson I think is a hybrid of the Creator and the Sage; he shares the Magician's desire to know the underpinnings of the universe, but overall that archetype is his canonmate Wagstaff's, not Wilson's.

Thurlow is a Sage monotype, almost to a fault.

Aradia is the Jester, maybe minoring in Explorer since Jester doesn't seem to fully encompass her character type.

Cirava I think is a Lover (though in a platonic sense; romance is a lower priority for them than friendship) combined with a Jester.

Ahsoka: CW-Explorer/Hero. She wants to learn and experience the galaxy and save it at the same time. She also craves excitement and is reckless. Rebels: Hero/Magician? She's less about excitement and exploring, and more about protecting the light of hope in the galaxy.

Sabine: Rebel/Creator. She wants to change the galaxy, through her art and her actions.

Jessica: Orphan/Jester. She seeks to belong and snarks to cover it up. She also uses snark to keep her friends from thinking they’re above other people.

Dog: Magician maybe? I don’t know. I see her as an archetype that pushes the hero to become what they must.

Danny: Innocent, though he thinks he’s the hero. I say innocent cause he has a simple view of right and wrong and doesn’t understand why doing the right thing isn’t always easy.

Hank: Creator/Sage.

Viv: Explorer/Caregiver

Tybalt: Ruler/Explorer.

Emcee: Jester/Creator, obviously, maybe even a bit of a Magician

Cassidy: Jester with a side of Explorer/Rebel

Floki: Creator/Magician/Sage under the guise of a Jester

I don't think Pam fits into anything, except maybe the Ruler a bit? She doesn't actually want the responsibility of being a leader (she would rather Eric handle that), but she does prefer being in a position of some power where there's money to be made.

Despite his repeated insistence on not being any kind of hero, Yamato is so very, very much the Hero, with a side order of the Caregiver. Gabumon, meanwhile, is the Caregiver with a side order of the Hero.

Eden does a decent job of pretending to be the Jester, but he's actually the Sage/the Magician.

Tess is the Ruler.

Rose is the Innocent.

Kylo is the Rebel.

...as is Creed.

Gabriel is a mix of Hero and Rebel, leaning Hero.
Reaper is a mix of Hero and Rebel, leaning Rebel.

Khadgar is not as clear to me. I would say he's more Sage than Magician, but he definitely has a strong Jester streak as well.
