I'm back in civilization and many thanks to splash_of_blue  for covering for me last week.

Let's talk AUs today. Is there an AU fic you like or a canon AU that's a favorite? Is there one you've come up with that you just want to hug and squeeze and call George? Are you waiting in anticipation for AU week, assuming we're doing one again this year? Do you need ideas for AUs?

Hank as Sorcerer Supreme or as Dark Demon Beast is tempting. I just love the idea of his scientific mind turning to magic.

One of my favorite AU fics in the history of history is the pitch-perfect Indistinguishable from Magic, in which a post-Serenity River Tam learns that fate is relative.

I first read it more than a decade ago via LJ, and it still makes me ugly-happy-cry to this day.
