Friday DE: Wizards Untie
With the new Harry Potter game, I’m thinking wizarding thoughts. What House would your pup belong to, whether English, or American, or whatever? What sort of role do they have in the wizarding world?
Since it’s Friday, feel free to fic about it if you prefer.

Sabine is definitely a student and I'm torn between Ravenclaw and Slytherin.
Hank is Ravenclaw and likely a teacher who also is developing artifacts/enchanted items which push the tech boundary of the wizarding world.
Sam...I would be tempted to label as Hufflepuff, but he kicked the tail of a helicopter in flight, and if that isn't a Gryphandor move, I don't know what is.
Danny...I can't decide between Gryphandor and Hufflepuff. He seems very Gryphandor, charging off without thinking of the consequences, but his big motivations tend to be to protect people he cares about and his whole motivation in season one was finding his family, which is very Hufflepuff, imho.
Viv is Ravenclaw and a student. I could see her as a construct who gained sentience.
Dog is a magical/elemental entity so houses don't apply to her. She is sympathetic to Ravenclaw and Gryphandor students though.
Tybalt would be another magical creature but if I had to place him I'd likely go with Hufflepuff, though he can be Slytherin when required.
Jessica was raised in a family of Slytherins (likely Deatheaters) but is Hufflepuff through and through. I can also see her as being an undercover Auror. ETA You know, maybe she's not a Hufflepuff. She is loyal as all hell, but hard work is not her thing. She will avoid it until she can't any more. I guess I'll have to think on it.
(FYI, I purposefully misspelled United as Untie in the title today.)

"Merlin's blue balls, what the hell do you want?" He grumbled. "It's not even time for breakfast yet, and I'm still not in your house."
Nearly Headless Nick managed to look contrite for about half a second before failing entirely, stepping fully into the bathroom and ignoring Klaus's incoherent protests about privacy.
"Yes yes, but it's your house's ghost I need you to talk to, the Bloody Baron is..."
"I am not your personal secretary, you great git. Go tell him whatever it is yourself." Klaus huffily tugged on his robes, slightly askew, his green tie looped loosely around his neck, his curls an unruly disaster. His father would be horrified, he's sure, but if he's going to have to listen to pureblood nonsense he is absolutely determined to do it in the most insolent fashion possible. No amount of explaining will ever convince the more idiotic of his housemates that there's no way in hell he would have actually chosen to be a Hargreeves.
"But it's better when it comes from..."
"Nope!" Klaus calls over his shoulder, flipping the Baron a two fingered salute as he goes. He doesn't know why all of the castle's ghosts seem to think he wants their constant intrusions, but they are decidedly determined.

I think Ben could be Slytherin, or if you follow fanon, Ravenclaw.

Not sure I see Ravenclaw personally, but I'm not opposed to it. I just think we don't see enough of Ben to really get an official take.
(Man, I need to decide which pup to let go so I can app Ben.)

"A spell goes wrong one time..." Ben starts, a complaint that now has a couple of years on it as Klaus has failed to stop being amused at a bad transfiguration class.
"And I'll laugh about it forever, yup." Klaus agrees cheerfully, but the cheer abruptly slides entirely off of his face when he spots an absolutely monster-sized owl winging its way up the Slytherin table. "Oh hell, nope, gotta go."
But he's too late. A fat red letter is dropped in front of him with annoyingly pin-point precision. Copper-plate handwriting spells his name, and that of the sender.
Reginald Hargreeves.
Shit, he forgot it was Wednesday. Time for his weekly howler.

Molly's definitely a Gryffindor, though most of her siblings are Hufflepuffs and she definitely has 'Puff tendencies.
Snow Leopard Woman is a Hufflepuff.
Victoria's Slytherin, probably. Slytherin or Gryffindor.
Poe is Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. I'm inclined to say Gryffindor, because he most def. has the ridiculous heroic/Big Damn Hero tendencies, but his loyalty to his chosen group is also a Big Freaking Deal. That said, he does defect from the New Republic to Rebels, so yeah, I'm going to pick Gryffindor (although that could simply be read as another form of loyalty - he chose family loyalty to Leia over loyalty to the Republic). BB-8 is definitely a Hufflepuff, though.
War is ... Hufflepuff. Loyal to her tribe, hard-working (what, do you think all those wars all over the globe just start themselves?). She's also scrupulously fair in her unfairness: she'll bring wars anywhere, with no heed to race, religion, gender or location. And let's not forget that a badger will totally eff you up if required.
Coulson's also Hufflepuff. 'Puffs all out here working hard and getting the job done! (He's probably got a Hufflepuff Pride tie, honestly.)
Raoul... Hmm. My initial instinct was to say Gryffindor, but he's also kind, fair, very hard-working (he turns the King's Own from a cosy assignment for lazy, rich young men into one of the hardest-working branches of the armed forces) and desperately, utterly loyal to his friends and to Tortall. (He also has a gift for inspiring the same kind of loyalty in the men and women who serve him.) However, he does also have a rep for individual acts of valour and courage (his nickname is Giantkiller because he's the only human man known to have fought a giant alone and won; he manages the same thing a second time later on). So I'm going to say he's a hatstop who eventually wound up in Gryffindor.
McGonagall says, pointedly, "Ahem."

Sunshine is absolutely a Hufflepuff. She's braver than she thinks, but it is not what she values. She values hard work, good cheer, determination, and loyalty (which is why she feels such turmoil when it feels like her loyalties aren't so much divided as disappearing in opposite directions).
Yrael doesn't really fit into a house, being what he is, but he loves Ravenclaw and Slytherin folks, for different reasons. Ravenclaws are often interesting and entertaining. Slytherins tend to be delicious, or at least fun to use as tools for a while. *Then* they're delicious. >_>
Rumor is a Slytherin and looooooves Slytherins and Gryffindors. They make the best rumors.

So, he'd be a hatstop, and it could go really go either way.
Eden is a Ravenclaw or Slytherin, and I think the dial is swung over to Slytherin by the fact that he doesn't really love knowledge and learning, he just has pragmatic use for it.

Pam: Slytherin, duh
Floki: Ravenclaw (and a little bit of Slytherin)
I have no idea what Emcee is. Probably Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff? I am admittedly not as well-versed in the nuances.
