Wednesday DE: So, you walk into a tavern
Surprise, your pup is now playing D&D* and have to pick a class for themselves, or possibly they've been transported into a game of D&D and been assigned a class by the powers that be. What class are they? If they've been assigned a class by someone else, is it different from the one they would have picked?
*Other games are available. In fact, if there's another game whose classes or jobs fit better, feel free to use that instead.

Cirava is a bard, no question. Maybe with a single level of sorcerer chucked in, to reflect the psionics.
Thurlow is a warlock against their better judgment; they're very distrusting of making deals with enigmatic supernatural entities, but their long-term arc heavily involves them hitching their wagon to a few such entities anyhow. They'd probably want to multiclass into wizard as well though. Great Old One or custom/third-party patron, the fiendish and fae options don't suit them.
Wilson makes the most sense as an artificer out of that list; I hazily recall Pathfinder offering an alchemist class, which is that little bit closer.
Sorcerer is about all I can think of for Aradia; a lot of her path through canon is either dependent upon, or derived from her reaction to, having some kind of magic bullshit thrown in her lap. Like, moreso than most of her friends.

Sabine: Rogue or equally skill-based class.
Viv seems to like playing barbarians. (At least in her canon's WoW game.)
Hank: Wizard or artificer.
Dog: Fighter or ranger, I think. Druid could be another option.
Jessica: Rogue or sorcerer.
Danny: Monk or rogue.
Tybalt: Bard. And he manages to play with a straight face the entire time.

Evelyn: Wizard.
Lois: ... Huh. Probably a Bard, to be honest! Maybe dual-classed Rogue-Bard.
Anakin: Paladin/monk hybrid specialized class, it would definitely need its own rules but like literally that's Jedi, I don't make the rules, George did.
R2: Rogue, but in a space/tech setting where the specialty is hacking, obviously.
Desiderius: hmmm might actually sorta be a paladin. Bit of a tank, some healing, fighter, devoted to higher cause, a little bit of faith. But what that is in Alera's setting is weird. ... Except weird custom-class that is dual Wizard-Paladin because of his "and now I set fire to everything" powers. LOOK HIGH LORDS OF ALERA ARE BROKEN. As for his dad...
Tavi: .......................
okay I literally had to ask my partner for help on this one, and I am going to quote him: "It doesn't matter, because he mostly plays the GM rather than using class abilities :P."
THAT SAID so Alera doesn't fit D&D very well, because you have a weird mix of power levels and cleverness and it's just a mess. Dresden Files RPG is a Fate system and I really like it because it mixes high and low power well, and if (definitely not when shut up i'm not crazy) I ever develop an Alera tabletop system, it'll probably also be Fate, both for flavor and for that "low-magic people can take out high-magic people with cleverness and spending narrative-level luck" etc. So I'm honestly not sure what class to give Tavi in a D&D system. He definitely starts off Rogue and then dual-classes into Sorcerer, I think, because of his stupid CHA stat (yeah he has a very high INT too but Sorcerers' flexibility and CHA-basis fits him well--Sextus is Wizard all the way but). But could be Wizard instead of Sorcerer! I'd be willing to discuss it.
Anyway I would need to actually develop Alera's system before answering for Tavi and Derius properly but there you have it.

Of course, she's a deity so if she's inserted into D&D she'd be the one whispering forbidden dark secrets to blood hunters, warlocks, and so on. She is unlikely to inspire paladins, clerics, or monks to follow her.
Fairy Fixit is an artificer, naturally.

Klaus just wants to know if there's a gift receipt. And where the returns desk is.

In the vein of other games being available, though, what probably fits him best from All Of Gamedom is a combination of Ranger and Yokai from the Bravely games.
Gabumon would definitely pick a Bard, and he'd play the most obnoxious Bard imaginable. If being assigned a class, he'd probably get given Druid, though -- he and Yamato are the same in a lot of ways, but Gabumon balances his violent side and his caregiving side a lot better than Yamato does, and is a lot more in tune with his emotions and nature, so a class that has both healing and attack powers and revolves all around nature is perfect for him.
Eden would also pick a Bard, given the chance. If being assigned a class, he'd be a Paladin, but specifically he'd be a Paladin without any kind of healing magic: He would have all the 'smiting with divine light' and none of the actual nice Paladin spells.
Going back to the Bravely options, he'd be a Kaiser/Fencer mix, or possibly a Kaiser/Templar mix.

Rumor is an inquisitive archetype Rogue, by her very nature.
Yrael is an eldritch abomination (either of literal Abomination or Aberration creature-types) masquerading as a Bard. :D
