Thursday DE: Second star on the right

Let's talk navigation. How does your pup navigate Milliways and its sometimes shifting environment? Do they have a basic mental layout they follow and don't think about things like which direction they're walking, much like how we tend to view our homes? Or do they have Milliways specific directions; say Bar-wise vs Door-wise?

Do you ever consider getting them mixed up for the lols?

I don't think any of mine have ever noticed. Their world is just as fluid and weird, to the point that I picked the house layout for Wilford based on listing photos that had doors and stairs leading absolutely nowhere. Celine's house in canon is the same way, and was deliberately filmed to where at two different points, a staircase is climbed by characters, and either scene has a different room on top.

I think if they were told this is not how reality is supposed to work, any one of them would call that person a liar.

Amascut can reliably navigate an entire ship from her world into the Caribbean inlet so she is probably good with wishy washy geography. She sometimes spends time raiding the Daemonheim dungeons to vent her frustration and, well, the geography there is as warped as the Labyrinth in the Miliways mountains. I think I wrote in that they are reachable from one another via a Δ-Space like the Library's (and Discworld's) L-Space, but actually doing it isn't likely. There are randomized portals at the bottom of Daemonheim that are more likely to dump you on top of the Milliways rooftop than that.

Daemonheim dungeons does have a library though, staffed by a crazed librarimancer. Also, didn't a raid of the Labyrinth go through the Spirit Library from Avatar:TLA? Have any adventures in the Labyrinth ended up in the Milliways Library due to a Δ-Space to L-Space connection like that?

Anyhow, Fairy Fixit is even more used to such things and thinking her way through them. Some locations that she travels to (and through) for work aren't nice logical or semi-logical roundworlds, they are more like mini-realities stacked on top of eachother like pancakes, connected to eachother like a complex manifold. With maple syrup.

Fixit's favorite Milliways spot, when the weather is nice, is where the jogging path around the lake meets with the Caribbean inlet. It makes absolutely no sense when you look at it from certain angles. Unfortunately, neither does the weather most of the time.

Bold of you to assume Klaus knows where he's going at any point of his life.
