Thursday DE: What happened next?
I am sick and so sleeping in tomorrow, thus an early DE and a chance for the EU folks to get the first words in.
Milliways has come under a fairy tale narrative/influence. Everyone who enters becomes some character type from fairy tales or fables. Or maybe it's just that Fairy Tale AU fanfic you've been meaning to write.
Regardless, what role do they adopt? Feel free to take inspiration from any fairy tale, from any culture, and even put you're own spin on it if you wish.
Totally inspired by Seanan McGuire's Index series. Which is amazing and you should read it.

Molly is, of course, a knight in shining (pink) armour. Or maybe a good ogress.
Sam is the youngest and least-favoured of the King's many sons, the one who finally fulfils the Impossible Quest. (He didn't want to fulfil it, obviously, but...)
Raoul just... looks to the camera. And shrugs, as much as you can in full plate armour. He's literally a giant-killing knight. That's even his nickname!
McGonagall is the Good Witch who advises the hero. (Anyone who tries to suggest she wear pink will be hexed into oblivion, Good Witch or no bloody Good Witch.)
Victoria is the Hunter. She may or may not kill Red Riding Hood as well as the Wolf; it all depends on the version you're reading.
Poe... uh, may be the princess, tbh. BB-8 is his obligatory cute animal sidekick.
Coulson is the King's most-trusted advisor. He and Hill may also be the King's chief knights.
Snow Leopard Woman, like Raoul, practically is a fairy-tale character, anyway.
War is the powerful and seductive Wicked Witch who the hero must defeat to bring peace to the realm.

Cassidy is the misunderstood beast who just wants to be loved.
Pam is the wicked queen who requires the blood of virgins to stay young and immortal.
Floki is the eccentric carpenter who is actually a wise wizard and speaks in riddles. For a price, he may or may not help you along your journey.

For Hank, I honestly don't think I could do better than X-Men fairytales, which had him as a Hanuman-esk ape. I could go with the obvious Beauty and the Beast route, or a werewolf fable, but I like his as a playful companion to the hero.
Viv...while the obvious is Pinocchio, her father already had that story used in Avengers Fairytales. Blodeuwedd is tempting, but I am thinking she was created as an apprentice for Math and Gwydion, rather than as a bride for Lleu Llaw Gyffes. There's just something super creepy to me to have created a woman for someone's bride. Plus Viv is underage.
Tybalt is just to perfect for Puss-In-Boots and he would ham it up to the rafters. If I had to pick another story, I'd be tempted to spin him into a Reynard the Fox style story.
Dog would obviously be the animal companion the hero did a favor for and who returns at the perfect time to return the favor.
For Ahsoka, Sabine, and Danny, I am drawing blanks. Any suggestions?

That is a really good idea! And now I'm seeing the Defenders as a fairy tale magnificent seven (With Trish, Foggy, and Coleen)
