Assume your character is from 20th or 21st-Century Earth (if they aren't already).

What would be their favourite song? Would they have different favourites for different jobs or tasks? Do they have a preferred musical genre or do they listen to a little bit of everything?

For Jess, I am going with P!nk's Raise Your Glass. Honestly, i can see her loving all of P!nk.

Viv had a wide variety of tastes and constantly checks out new music. I'll go with Hayley Kiyoko's Girls Like Girls for today.

Panic! At The Disco's The Death of a Bachelor seems like something Tybalt would love.

LittleMoll canonically likes the Spice Girls; I feel like Spice Up Your Life would probably be her favourite. She's probably gone right off 'Mama' as a song, though...

OlderMoll in Milliways likes the Beatles, probably as a result of Karolina's influence. Her favourite song, at least to use as a lullaby for Kitt, is Octopus's Garden; she's also fond of Norwegian Wood, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and Back In The USSR. For herself, though, I think she likes Pink - especially 18-Wheeler. I also think she'd like Little Mix - I think bubblegum pop girlbands are something she'll never lose her taste for, and Little Mix are pretty good. I could see Always Be Together being an old favourite, although she struggles to listen to it these days. Can't go wrong with Move or The Power, though!


I don't think McGonagall actually likes music very much; rather like my mother, who could live in a musicless world quite happily. (No, I don't get it either.) Although the woman does love a stereotype, so I imagine she's been known to get maudlin drunk to bagpipe music occasionally. ;)

...Also, because I absolutely cannot resist, she loves the musical Cats.

I think Jess likes the Spice Girls too. She'll say it's because it annoys people, but she loves them regardless.

I feel like Wilson is the kind of guy who would enjoy They Might Be Giants. I could see him liking an eclectic assortment of music like I the mun do, because his personality is pretty multifaceted, and I'm not sure what his favourite genre overall would be; however, that seems like the right band for him.
