Can you think of a character from another canon that your character needs to meet? Canons don’t need to be represented in bar.

I would love for Cassidy to meet Frenchie from The Boys. ...Figures that they're from the same creator. But the TV show versions, definitely. They have the same chaotic energy with soft marshmallow insides. (Oh god, please don't make me app him, I don't know enough random French.)

Viv and April O’Leary (who's a cyber-dryad) from the Toby Daye books would get along awesomely I think. Both are trying their best to figure out how to people, as well as learning to understand people and the society they live in.

Sabine and Tim Drake (DC comics) or the Robin from “Young Justice” would be fun to see also. I just feel like they’d either love each other or hate each other. Tech junkies for the win!

Jessica and Victoria from “RED” could interesting. I love when Jess interacts with spies in canon, so I can't see this going badly.

Also, Jess meeting MCU Bucky could be interesting. Both have been screwed over by HYDRA, so there's that. Of course they'd have to share those details for that bonding to happy. Next month Jess will be in a new team book with the comics Bucky and I cannot wait to see how they interact.

Speaking of Victoria, I think the Aunt May from Spider-verse and she would be fun as well.

So, from broader Digimon canon, I would kind of love for Yamato meet Ryuji Mishima from the Cyber Sleuth games, because Ryuji is basically Yamato's shadow: Someone who's simultaneously so self-loathing and so protective of other people that literally anyone can manipulate him into doing terrible things just by dangling his loved ones over his head, who eventually goes careening off the deep end when that comes back to bite him in such a way that it gets a friend killed.

They would hate each other. I really think Yamato would despise seeing his flaws, and where they could eventually lead, laid out quite so openly in front of him, and Ryuji probably wouldn't do any better with someone who has all the same flaws that he does, but manages to be heroic in spite of them.

From other canons: I'd really be down for Yamato meeting Deku, Uraraka, Bakugo (especially Bakugo, as he's why I started watching MHA), or Todoroki from My Hero Academia. Yamato wouldn't quite know what to do with any of them, but it would probably take a solid 6.1 seconds for him to go "NeW smALl siBliNgS? MuST proTeCt."

For opposite reasons, even though I kind of don't ... don't like Fate, and think it is Quite Bad, I would actually be down for Yamato meeting Shirou Emiya. He would probably irrationally hate him, but that's okay! That can be pretty fun.

Also, I'd be pretty down for him meeting any of the characters from Killjoys, but particularly Dutch, something not at all influenced by the fact that I really think the bar needs a Dutch, man. I just feel like she'd fit into the bar really well, man. It'd be super good, man.

There's about a dozen more on the list, but tbh this is probably long enough. Unless ... ?

I would love for Bastion to meet Murderbot of The Murderbot Diaries. Hanging out with some clones from Star Wars would be interesting as well, I think.

The first one I can think of is actually in their canon but a comment farther down reminded me that I would love Cassian to meet a clone trooper. I'd also love him to meet someone from the Bourne or Mission Impossible series, Eliot Spencer from Leverage. I've written them meeting in fic but would love that connection or anyone from Leverage.

I'm blanking on the others as I've had a long and good day, eye appointment and then in the evening a cool book panel and author signing. Then getting home took a while because the T is doing work on itself.
