Friday DE: Let's get dangerous
Fic Friday! And really nothing to do with the title, I just have the line as being said by Darkwing Duck in my head this morning.

Due respect
Before Toby could speak, Quentin used his most snotty and noble expression to look down on them and say, "This is Sir October Daye, be respectful."
Toby sighed and gave him a look but he didn't like her being insulted. She had earned her reputation with far too much blood and that deserved respect. The courtier gave a sniff and walked on.
"Come on, for being an overly protective squire, I'm going to find you the nicest treats at the party," She said as she gave his arm a squeeze.

A Spring Tempest
“It’s a surprise. Trust me on this one, okay?” Toby linked her hand about his elbow and so he ceased grumbling for the moment. Up ahead the trees parted to reveal a natural bowl, the perfect amphitheater. Many other people we standing about the outside ring looking anxious and miserable as the mood struck.
At some unknown signal, a way cleared and a woman entered to stand in the middle of the bowl. In a loud clear voice, she spoke. “Of thunder and lightning heard!”
Shocked, Tybalt looked down at Toby’s smile. “The Tempest, in the rain?”
“Yeap,” she managed before his lips sealed any further words.

New York Drip
And, she had to admit, the coffee was damn good.
The flutter in her stomach made her smile in contentment again, and she cautiously rested her hand there. Would New York be a good place to raise a kid though?

Surprise Sprinkles
Walther looked up at the knock on his door, intending a tense word for the interruption before returning to his work. Unfortunately, he found Cassandra in the doorway and she looked stunning.
His work went up in flames, taking an eyebrow with it and setting off the lab’s fire sprinklers. Startled, Cassandra ran in to help put out the fire.

I still need to read the short story with Walther and Cassandra.
