Does your character or canon have some kind of harvest festival? What's it like?

Demeter has her own harvest celebrations that were held throughout Greece with the main one being at Eleusis.

The Old Kingdom definitely has festivals, the Frost Fair is the big one that's mentioned as Sameth has to dance the bird of dawning but I don't think a specific harvest one is noted.

Faerie in Quentin's world celebrate Samhain and Beltane or their own versions, canon has only shown a few of these but at big courts, they're big deals. Since they used to be tied to when Maeve, Oberon and Titania were based at different courts.

Star Wars is full of all sorts of festivals but there's nothing official from Fest, Cassian's planet. Fanon is that there's something similar to the Day of the Dead on planet which I like.

Thanksgiving is still a fairly new holiday in William's time so its not one that means a lot to him.

I think Tumnus celebrates some kind of harvest festival but I'm not sure which one. Narnia definitely pulls in all sorts of Roman and Greek mythologies especially with the fauns.

Barrayar has a definite winter festival and harvest ones are more informal.

As much as the Divided Courts have their celebrations, I feel like the cait sidhe should have their own, but I'll be damned if I can come up with any. Some day.

I feel like, being cats, they'd have monthly harvest/food celebration holidays. Or at least yell until they get one. ; p
