I feel like it’s been a while since we gave the EU folks first crack at the DE, so here it is.

Music! Heard any new to you songs? What’s a Halloween song you love, whether it’s official for Halloween or not? What’s a song that makes you think of your pup? What’s a song that makes you think of other pups in bar?

Songs that I've been listening to lately include Demon Slaying Corps from Kimetsu no Yaiba, a song with the very clear theme of 'This song was composed by the Tales of Zestiria guy' and 'brass instruments are instruments which exist,' and Big Time Changes from Digimon Savers, a song which asks 'what if key changes?'

For Halloween songs, nothing is ever going to beat Come Little Children for me.

And for a song that reminds me of my pups, Run With The Wind/Yamato's Theme (Tri Version) for Yamato, and Vector to the Heavens for Eden.

My two Klaus songs are 'Goody Two Shoes' (and this is only confirmed by the music video guys what even is this music video I love it I think Klaus stole style points from it) - it has his manic energy and I love it... and 'Big Thief' because this scene HURT SO MUCH and was beautifully shot and dear lord I love it.

Totally. IMHO, the soundtrack was a huge part of why the show worked as well as it did.

In heavy rotation, I have Haley Kiyoko's Demons, Bishop Briggs's Jekyll and Hyde, and Billie Ellish's All the Good Girls Go to Hell.

Among my favorite Halloween tunes are Auslanderween (Danny Elfman vs Pop Will Eat Itself), Oingo Boingo's No One Lives Forever (look, I know Deadman's Party is a classic but this song is so much better), and Electric Hellfire Club's Halloween Medley.

As to songs for pups, I can't help thinking of Klaus and Cassidy (and perhaps Emcee) when I hear Ms Mr's Salty Sweet (just the line 'Damned if I do and bored if I don't' *chief's kiss*) and Panic! At Disco's Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time.

I also can't help but think of a certain pup I'm hoping to bring in when I hear HPLHS's Tentacles.

ETA: Okay, actually this Tentacles song by Noisia seems to fit Ben better.

I was introduced to Barns Courtney's Hellfire around the time I finished Alphabet Squadron and my brain has pretty much fused the two. It makes me sad that I very obviously can't make vids for books.

Meanwhile, my current Hera song is Little Mercy by Dessa, and Kanan is Bruce Springsteen's Promised Land.

Oh, the irony of not having enough time to answer this until the next day...

Anyway, my reawakened Good Omens obsession continues apace, so pretty much all my current musical obsessions are Az/Crowley songs. Kites by Dessa is a big one.

I don't think I know any Halloween songs? Except the ones from Nightmare Before Christmas, I guess.

Lord Huron's The World Ender makes me think of Reaper. And it's spooky enough to work as a Halloween song, too!
