Wednesday De: oh no machiavelli is behind you

What would make your character happiest: Wealth, power, peace, or love? Why? And what would be their second place choice?

Ahsoka wants peace. She's tired of war and the fighting and war hurts people. Second place, I'd say love. She misses having family.

Sabine would say peace, but I'm inclined to say renown, where ever that would fall in the four choices.

Jessica wants love as well, from family or romance. Wealth doesn't mean much to her and neither does power, but she didn't have much love growing up.

"Eternal peace is probably overrated."

Klaus says this to a decidedly-not-present Reginald Hargreeves, and at face value he wouldn't want it... but he takes the drugs he's on (in large part) to win some measure of peace from the literal ghosts that haunt him. The boy wants peace, he's just pissed his asshole 'dad' is the one that gets it.

And though he'll deny it until he's blue in the face, a close runner up is love. At least he gets that one.

That's the exact reason for Sabine saying Peace. = ]

Emcee wants peace most of all. He's tired of being a victim, he's tired of running and hiding, and he's tired of having to fight back. And that goes for everyone who has ever been in his position, on his side of the fight. Because that shit is exhausting. Second place choice would be wealth, only so he could give it away to people in need, and also further his own creative endeavors. Wealth is a means to help people and make them happy, which is...what makes Emcee happy.

It's a toss-up between peace and love for Cassidy. Deep down he wants to be at peace with himself, what he is and what he'd done in the past. But he also wants to be loved, except he's such a dumpster fire that he's sure that nobody will love him anyway so why bother trying to change. So I guess peace first, then love.

Pam wants wealth. That's pretty much it, lol. Power is okay as long as she doesn't have to work too hard to actually stay in power.
inlovewithwords: Milliways roster: Lois Lane (teen, Gwenda Bond books); Tavi (Codex Alera); Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader and R2-D2 (Star Wars); Evelyn Trevelyan (Dragon Age: Inquisition); Eriond (Belgariad/Mallorean) (Milliways roster 2017)

Eriond: Peace. He's intent on making peace and love for everyone. He really doesn't have a second.

Evelyn: Peace first, because being constantly terrified is exhausting; love next, because being alone sucks.

Lois: Love, because being alone (in the sense of without support) sucks. Peace second, for the benefit to other people; if she is choosing selfishness probably wealth because she'd rather not have to worry about working for a living and report on whatever she wants independently. BUT, you know, other people more important.

Tavi: Kitai's love is what makes him happy enough to get through the lack of peace; peace is what he works towards because he sees it as the only way to survive and also the only way to allow more people to get to choose how they can be happy. (... he already has the wealth and power, honestly  they're tools in service of peace, not ends themselves)

R2-D2: Peace, because it sucks getting carbon scoring out of your chassis and his humans keep being hurt.

Anakin: . . . . . . can I please take a rain check? This is a deeply complicated question, including between "what he thinks would make him happy" and "what would actually make him happy" although "wealth" is definitely off the table.

Pretty sure Gabriel/Reaper are always power (though 'happy' is probably too strong a word). At the height of the Omnic Crisis, Gabe would probably want peace for a bit, and he's been hinted at having a family, so love was probably top at some point during the Overwatch years, but power won out in the end. Obviously.

Khadgar wants peace. He would take love second, but for Light's sake, please let there be peace on Azeroth. Please. At least for a while?
