What sort of work conference would your character go to? Would they be a presenter? A vendor? An attendee? Would there be some kind of professional skill/bootcamp/certification-equivalent they would want to do? (Feel free to imagine an in-world equivalent.)

If swap meets &c. count I could imagine Amascut being both a vendor and an attendee at a weapons trade show. But at a slayer-con, she would definitely be a presenter.

Meetings between slayer masters are still small since the number of slayer masters is quite small, so something as big as a conference is not likely. Though, a conference might attract interest from slayer and monster hunting enthusiasts.

Fairy Fixit would definitely be a presenter at a teleportation science conference. But, uh, magic is science and science is magic on her world so uh. But then again, a fairy presenting at a teleportation science conference. Teleportation safety and security certification would be a thing she would be interested in doing, at least for the sake of comparison.

The only answer I'm getting is Ahsoka guarding some senator (either Padma or Riyo Chuchi) as they wander the conference.

I could see her interested in a military tech conference, purely to see what new tech there is to keep as many of her brothers clones alive as possible.
