So I guess: how does your character deal with endings, or transitions into something new?

Yamato can cope with some transitions really well, but he tends to struggle with any transition that might change his relationship with his friends. Part of his whole problem in Tri is that he really doesn't seem to know how to cope with the idea that his friendship with Taichi is going to change a little when they leave school (and Taichi, in turn, seems equally unable to cope with that).
