Thursday DE

I am up and not feeling well, so the EU folks get first crack at DE today.

Topic from Emcee:
Does your pup live with someone or by themselves? What do they prefer? What kind of roommate are they? If they live alone, what would they probably be like as a roommate?

Yamato lives with his father! Ostensibly. Citation needed.

While they do nominally share a flat, Hiroaki Ishida is home so rarely that even when Yamato was eleven, he could apparently go weeks at a time without seeing the guy. When he is around -- well, Hiroaki admits himself that while he does love both his sons, he has no idea how to raise a kid, especially a kid like Yamato, so he just treats Yamato like someone who he happens to share a living space with.

When he's in the Digital World, he shares a camp with the rest of the Chosen. As the Chosen's strategist and logistics guy, he also pretty much runs the camp, assigning work rotas, watch shifts, making sure everyone's up at sunrise, etc. He's usually the one doing the cooking, too.

Yamato's probably a great person to live with if you're never around, or if you're the Chosen and so on a mission anyway with all the rigours that involves. If you aren't, then have fun dealing with someone who is a) So fastidiously neat about his living space that he will snap at you if you leave one (1) dish unclean, and b) A barely functional adrenaline junkie who will come stumbling in at midnight, bruised and bloody from a fight, at least once a month.

Eden lives with the six other members of his dorm, in one of the dormitories at Leopardos Union, which is pretty much just a shared living space with seven individual rooms. He is fine as a roommate. They are all, in fact, fine as roommates in a way that should definitely not be remotely possible for seven teenagers.

Wilson does not currently live with anyone! But after getting kicked off the Nightmare Throne, and especially after building the Jury-Rigged Portal, he will.

Nobody in the Don't Starve Together cohort except maybe Wormwood and Walani has a functioning sleep schedule by Earth standards, so on the one hand there's less chance of waking someone up when coming back to camp at night but on the other hand there are people working and coming and going at all hours.

He's canonically pretty bad at keeping his bathroom clean; back on Earth he had a mushroom problem in there. Probably wasn't great with dirty dishes either, but in the Constant, the magical crockpot that he cooks most of his food in spontaneously generates dishes and then after being emptied they vanish once you take your eye off them. Which is less convenient if you wanted to repurpose them for non-food purposes, but it's easy cleanup! He is, however, thorough and punctual with his laundry.

Tess technically lives alone, but she does have staff, so they're there as well. She doesn't see much of them, so it's like she's alone. She'd be okay as a roommate, a little mysterious and keep to herself, but she's not going to shoot anyone for not doing their dishes. Probably.

Kylo has his own quarters. There are thousands of other people on board, but he ignores them unless he wants something. He'd be a bad, bad roommate. Just bad.

Creed lives alone. There shouldn't be anyone else around unless he's not sleeping alone and even then he tends not to take them to his home(s). Bad roommate. Would eat all your food and grump at you constantly.
