Thursday DE: I want to play a game...

Heyo! Bat taking over again and continuing on this gaming trend of the last few days. How about the ultimate gaming scenario? ESCAPE ROOMS!

Who would your pup tackle an Escape Room with? Would they make it out? What would their contribution to the team be in solving the room?

Bonus points for painting out the scenario for us.

Also, let's stick to the fun kind of Escape Room, not the ones with puppets and severed limbs, m'kay?

Yamato would be the one marshalling everyone and focusing them to solving the various tasks, and probably also taking the lead in figuring out a lot of puzzles. He'd also take the lead in ruining it by treating it less like a game and more like a task that has to be completed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

(If it's the un-fun type of Escape Room with puppets and severed limbs, the exact same thing would happen, except now there's also a puppet there.)

Cisco would be great in that he's a literal genius and can either solve the puzzles or figure out workarounds. Depending on the temperaments of the others involved though, having him along might require some patience.

Barry would have a blast with it and be great at problem solving and cheerleading. He and Cisco would both likely do an escape room together with Caitlin. Team Flash FTW!

Matt would have to be dragged into it and it would definitely be Foggy doing the dragging. He would be good at it, finding the hidden levers and what not with his senses, the task would be finding ways to explain how he knows things.

Logan would serve as a peanut gallery. He could probably contribute, but he'd rather act grouchy and annoyed and sardonic while others figured things out. It might go better if he had a beer.

Lois is the one who does totally get solutions pretty quickly--but also is pointing out why X doesn't work/is unrealistic/breaks immersion etc. Because, like, she lockpicks for real. Her standards for Escape rooms are higher.

Anakin would mostly be frustrated. Someone would have to take away his lightsaber and Obi-wan and Padme would probably have to prevent him from using any Force powers to just *cut through this nonsense*, how is this a game???

R2 would smugly hack the system.

Derius would actually enjoy this and play along (again, he likes cooperative things!) and would probably be the one quietly waiting and watching and being encouraging and if everyone else was super stuck and getting frustrated, offer the right clue. He's tagging along to make sure everyone has fun!

Tavi... uh. Depends on his age and his mood. He would be with Kitai, no question, and between them they could probably solve everything (bar "cut-scenes") in like five minutes. Prior to being a father, he'd definitely be like "okay I get how this is fun but also I need more mental stimulation than this, I'm going to just go, like, design a new SuperMax Dungeon and have Kitai run it, have her make changes, then run it myself, etc." ... Meaning he'd design his own damn escape rooms that no one else can beat, if he does his job right. Please ignore him.

(If he did this as a child, he would be the annoying one who just gets almost everything himself and no one else gets a chance. He thoroughly enjoys himself, but other people don't get much chance to have fun.)

Once he's a father, though, it's totally about letting the kids have fun and helping them if they're stuck. Their fun is his fun and he's totally down for it! Plus, good training when he runs them through *their* versions of escape rooms, which are mostly breaking-and-entering with increasing difficulty.

I might have a fic later, but for now all i am seeing is Jess dragging her friends and protégés to one of these rooms and doing her best to subtly steer them wrong. I'm seeing Anya Corazon, Gwen Stacy, Carol Danvers, Logan, Bruce Banner, and maybe Clint or Peter. She did invite Cindy Moon but Cindy declined as it seemed too much like being stuck in a bunker and she's had enough of that for her life.

Things go fairly well? Bruce and Logan avoid each other as much as they can since Bruce Hulking out in a small room just would not be good. Jess has to keep reminding Carol not to blast her way out. Gwen and Anya do the best as they get into the spirit of it. Logan mostly smirks since he can likely smell the clues out.

Eventually they get pulled into a Murder Park by Arcade, because of course right?

Everyone should take Carol. She can escape from any room, as long as destroying the room isn't against the rules. Is it against the rules?

Nobody should take Bing, because she'll leave you behind to save herself.
