Bouncing a little off Bethan, as I often do:

Your character is working in an intelligence! Is it a loose network or an organized agency, or are they a lone wolf? What kind of work do they do? Or are they the asset needing protecting?

Amascut prefers loose networks. She is a behind-the-scenes agitator causing chaos within governments by trading in secrets and favors, encouraging ambition in all the wrong places, and making martyrs out of leaders of peaceful movements. Definitely on the dark spooky side of an intelligence agency if not a well connected terrorist. If she isn't the antagonist of the story, then it is likely not a story that portays intelligence or counter-intelligence in a positive light. Hell, even if she is the antagonist, dwelling too much on what she's doing might make the heroic spies opposing her a lot less heroic. She already kinda plays this way.

Fairy Fixit runs the innocuous front facing business that hides an intelligence operation and occasionally makes nosey people disappear. Basically, the same role she filled during part of canon.

Handily, the Chosen kind of already have their own intelligence network, managed jointly by Koushiro (who, as the new series points out, was an information broker with a small army of connections when he was ten), and Takeru (who is a schemy wily bastard), under Sora's supervision.

So they're definitely more of the 'loose network' types, a 'you scratch our back, and we'll scratch yours' kind of set-up that spends a lot of time occupying either dubiously legal grey areas or out-and-out criminal information trading.

Yamato is, at least per Tri, apparently good enough at blending in and tracking people that he can follow Nishijima and Himekawa undetected, even though they are professional spies and he has bright yellow hair.

Well isn't this handy?

Ahsoka helps to form Rebel Intelligence and keeps it pretty loose as befitting a cell type resistance structure. According to the "Ahsoka" novel, she chose to help build RI because she didn't want to fight another war but couldn't keep herself from step up. My head and heart tell me she came to believe the Jedi should never lead in wars and should only support. (And I refuse the shift in where the Fulcrum code name came from.)

Sabine would be part of RI and work mostly as the switch between the asset or the one rescuing the asset. She's done both.

Jess absolutely is the asset and she is damned good at it, even if she is done with the whole game. She could also be there to help rescue the asset.

Viv would be a handler I think. Maybe somewhat like Oracle as she'd be able to tap into any computer that was networked and had online access.
