Tess is a science nerd. But she doesn't hang out with anyone because she's a senior at 14 and no one wants her around.

Kylo is with the sci-fi/fantasy kids, planning D&D missions. He loves Risk, too.

Creed is the older, creepy guy who tries to lure away girls at lunch and after school.

Ahsoka definitely is one of the jocks, but I also feel like she's a theater kid or something. Definitely on the fencing team.

Sabine is a nerd, mixing science and art, and likely quoting Monty Python in every breath.

Viv is a computer science nerd who likely runs a gamer group club as well. She's interested in any social change clubs but hasn't worked up the nerve to join them.

Jessica is out by the bleachers and cutting class, at least until she becomes friends with Carol who gets her to clean up her act somewhat.

Ben is the quiet kid no one but his brother talks to. He's actually really a nice guy but doesn't reach out.

Alustin is a nerd but one of the popular ones. No one really knows why.

Tybalt is a theater kid and one of the popular crowd.

Amascut - one of the meanest popular girls, gets away with the weirdest shit. Somehow manages to keep the fact that she is on the wrestling team a secret.

Fairy Fixit - shop nerd, hangs out with either the Ag club or the auto shop kids and street racers, depending on the setting. Very good at fixing and upgrading farm equipment and automobiles, even when it comes to problems with their onboard computers and sensors.

Wormwood is a weird, kind of gross kid with either no friends or, like, one or two equally weird and gross friends. They do a lot of gardening outside of school and don't reliably show up in clean clothes, and they talk funny. They recently transferred in, but it's not clear whether their speech pattern is an ESL thing or if they're just, like, Australian.

Wilson is a science nerd, and doesn't have the social skills to be well-liked outside of the nerd table, but he's friends with some of the other nerds.

Aradia is giving me theatre kid vibes and I'm not 100% sure why. She's also part of the D&D group, but mostly a history nerd instead of a fantasy/sci-fi nerd. She's goth-adjacent, but doesn't really dress like it.

Cirava's an art kid and was one of the popular kids up until, like, last year, when there was some kind of drama and the cops came to their house and they almost died??? Most other students don't know the whole story and Cirava's not sharing the details, but that part made the rounds.

Bastion is quiet to the point of barely speaking a word all semester and very large for their age, so they have an intimidating reputation that belies the fact that they mostly just want to look at birds. They may have been pressed into joining a sports team or two, but they don't really hang out with the jocks unless the jocks make an effort to hang out with them.

Thurlow's both artsy and nerdy, and they're enough of a people person that they probably could be popular if they were quieter about their weird hobbies and interests but they refuse to tone anything down for the sake of their reputation. They also have delinquent tendencies and get detention often, so they have a bit of a bad-boy... girl?... bad-individual-of-mysterious-and-indistinct-gender reputation.

Seimei is hanging out with the artsy/theater kids. But he may be doing essay assignments on behalf of the nerdy kids in exchange for castoff computer parts and VHS tapes and the like.

YT hangs out with the skateboarders and potheads, of course.

Murderbot is a loner. It sits by itself at lunch. It may be in detention for mouthing off at a teacher.

Zuko is a prep who fell in with the emo kids after tragedy, obviously. Which just allows Azula to rule the preps.

Zenigata, who grew up very straight-and-narrow? But boisterous attitude speaks to a more adventurous past? That guy's with a gang of troublemakers, boosting cars adn indulging in petty left until his cop dad puts his boot on his neck.
