...ANYWAY.

Your pup is now the only human (or... human-adjacent) in their canon's main cast. Everyone else... is Muppets.

Please suggest your preferred casting.

(If your pup would ALSO be a Muppet, please let me know why and pick a different cast member to be the human/human-adjacent character.)

There already is a "only human in the cast" in Gamora's canon, so I'm going to just leave that there.

Gamora is competent and green, so she's Kermit. (Or is she Constantine? OR BOTH?)
Nebula is Miss Piggy: violent and obsessed with rebuilding or destroying her relationship with Kermit.
Drax is Fozzie: Big and doesn't quite understand jokes.
Rocket is Animal. Obviously.
Groot is Zoot, because they rhyme
Mantis is Janice because the Muppets has Smurfette syndrome and so does the Guardians.

Thanos is Sam the Eagle. (Making Kermit and Miss Piggy his niblings, because he's their Uncle Sam)
Yondu is Gonzo because I'm colour coding things.
The Collector is Bunsen and his hapless assistant is Beaker.

Knowhere is Uncle Deadly.

Fives isn't the only human. But he is played by the only human actor, because Jango Fett is the only human and he got cloned.

Kermit is Anakin (Constantine is Vader)
Padme is Miss Piggy
Obi-Wan is Rowlf the Dog - empathetic, down to Earth and sarcastic.
Gonzo, with his bizarre stunt performance habit, and tendency to run into things head first, is Ahsoka.
Yoda can stay because he's an honorary Muppet.


Satine is Janice
Scooter and Skeeter are Luke and Leia
Mace Windu is Sam the Eagle
C3-PO and Artoo are Statler and Waldorf.

Lupin is Kermit with an edge, though at least they tone down his hypersexuality because he's a felt frog.
Fujiko Mine is clearly his beloved Miss Piggy.
Jigen, with his eyes hidden behind sunglasses instead of under his hat and a handlebar mustache instead of his chinstrap beard, is Floyd
Goemon, however is Gonzo -- hyperfocused on one thing, intensely weird and out of place in the setting as it's modernized, and just a little too intense for most people.


Zuko... no. Kid's got enough trouble with everyone else being Muppets...

This is only about seven characters removed from just normal canon for Yamato.

Anyway, Taichi is Miss Piggy.

Cassian as the one human in the Rogue One cast is really far too perfect. I slept longer than I meant to so assigning characters is a little harder.

With the Toby Daye crowd, oh its hard to pick who, I feel like maybe Toby should be the human.

Charles is definitely the human in the X-Man cast.

Hm, this is hard for the Old Kingdom, I feel like Lirael would work better as the human and Sameth's Bunsen.

Oh god, Discworld with muppets, Moist as the human definitely works or actually maybe Vetinari as the one human. I could see both of them as humans and sometimes movies have one or two.

All the Greek gods are muppets.

And not as sure about my others, need to think on them.

So today was a day, but now I'm free, so.

Jon: playing himself.
Martin: Kermit the Frog - sensible, just wants everyone to get along and for things to go right, a bit flaily, squeaks when startled.
Tim: Scooter - smart, isn't sure why no one's listening to him, good sense of humor. I will also accept Rolf the Dog.
Sasha: Janice - the brains behind the operation, but actually really laid back about the insanity around her, actually really cool.
Elias: Sam the American Eagle. Yup.
Jane Prentice: All of the worms that hang out around Oscar the Grouch in a trench coat.

Welcome To Night Vale:
Cecil - playing himself
Carlos the Scientist: Bunsen Honeydew (Science is neat!)
and the interns are filled by an ever-rotating cast of muppets who be come more and more frantic as the turnover rate increases.

Umbrella Academy:
Klaus: Playing himself
Luther: Sam the American Eagle (I will also accept a somehow bizarrely bulked Kermit the Frog, because of who I picked for Allison)
Allison: Miss Piggy
Diego: Lew Zealand
Five: Gonzo the Great
Ben: Never mind, Ben gets Kermit, mostly because I am deeply enjoying the mental image of Klaus stumbling around, followed by a freaking out Kermit the Frog.
Vanya: Beaker. Which doesn't feel quite right, but y'all see where I'm going with this? Hmm...

I got distracted for a moment thinking of TMA with Martin as the only human, Jon as Kermit, Tim as Gonzo, Sasha as Rizzo, Elias as... yeah, no, has to be Sam.

But what struck me strongest was the Swedish Chef as Michael, Janice as Helen, and Uncle Deadly as John Amherst.
