Monday DE: The Voice of God
Good Monday, everyone, and welcome to another week of fun, fun, fun! [dry]
Inspired by the ongoing All-Skate Post...
One of my OCs, the Angel of the Lost and Found, is the protector of the lost, the outcast, etc. When they speak to you, the accent/dialect you hear is the one you find most comforting or reassuring (so not necessarily your own).
If they spoke to your pup, what accent or dialect would they hear (and why)?

Coulson: He absolutely hears someone who sounds like Nick Fury, and there are absolutely no circumstances whatsoever under which he'd admit that. If for some reason required to answer, he'd probably say he hears someone who sounds like Cap.
Victoria hears a Russian accent, something like Ivan's. Similarly to Coulson, there is no way she'll ever admit this (except maybe to him) - if forced to answer, she'd probably say very dryly that she hears the Queen.
Snow Leopard Woman: She does hear her local accent/dialect; probably something similar to the voice-in-her-head of the Snow Leopard Woman who came before her, and created her.
War hears someone who TALKS LIKE HER BOSS.
McGonagall - Merlin help her - hears someone who sounds like Dumbledore...
Poe hears someone who sounds like Leia, or like his mother. An Alderaanian accent.
Max: male (or at least masculine) RP. Something like a 1950s BBC announcer; the kind of voice he's grown up hearing on radio/TV.
Nebula: Discussed this in chat yesterday, but up until... probably the bit where she's tortured in Endgame, she'd hear someone who sounds like Thanos. Much like Molly and her parents - she knows she hates him, and most of the time she truly does, but there's definitely a tiny part of her that's still the scared little girl with Thanos as the only source of comfort. I think specifically what she'd hear would be the tone of voice Thanos used every time he 'upgraded' her, ensuring her that this time, she would be the best, that she just had to endure one more upgrade and she'd finally beat Gamora and win his respect, how proud he'll be of her when she wins. Later - possibly after their time together on the Benatar, but definitely by the end of Endgame - she hears someone who sounds like Tony Stark...
