Gooooooooooooood [checks notes] Tuesday, Milliways, and welcome once again to another sunny day in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania!
Having spent Saturday night watching one of my comfort movies, Ocean's 8...
Every good heist movie has a team of oddballs taking on specific roles, including (but not limited to): The Leader/The Mastermind, The Second In Command, The Legend (who's usually back for One Last Gig), The Conman/The Grifter, The Pickpocket, The Rookie, The Wild Card, The Tech Genius/Hacker, The Inside Guy, The Mark, The Driver, The Big Guy, The Weapons/Explosives Expert, The Thief/The Pickpocket, The Backer, The Fixer, The Roper, etc. (See this TV Tropes link for more.) Often they will double up on these roles - for instance, due to their inexperience, the Rookie may also be the Wild Card, while the Second in Command might be the Grifter.
Your roster of pups is running a heist or caper. Who takes which role(s)? For bonus points: what's The Job?

(Let's go steal a Galactic Empire!)
Simba (
Dick is a bit of a Bat-of-all-trades, but tends to fall into the mastermind/second in command role, doubling up in this case as the thief/burglar because of his ability to get through maintenance tubes. He might be the hacker, but only because I don't have any others.
Gamora (
Fives (
Added extras:
Obi-Wan (
Which means I just wanna throw in Ezra (
Betty (

Zenigata, on his own turns into The Mastermind And The Big Guy in one package. Canonically, he has stolen plays straight from Lupin for his own thefts (long story) and the reason he can keep up with Lupin is because he's just as good. He just needs to wrangle up some mooks who can take orders, and bam. He's good to go.
So, basically, Zenigata would become Nathan Ford and start his own Leverage with Lupin's crew if you had him take the lead role in a series. He even has the requisite tragically dead son and failed marriage to go with it!
Zuko, however, is definitely both the thief and the wild card - he's a prince and king, with a lot of Inside connections, maybe? He's stolen the AVatar AND a fucking Air Bison before, you know, but he was working as a solo ninja of justice, not, y' know, a mook. Zenigata would have to channel that Big Dad Energy in the right way (since Zuko responds well to empathetic male authority) and suddenly Zuko's easy to direct and coordinate.

The Second-in-command plus weapons expert: Teja. If he found the cause justified and the conditions suitable, he'd have no problems deferring to Hannibal.
The Backer: Pearse Harman. He's the one most likely to come up with a cause in his world that would unite all these disparate characters.
The Muscle: Wen Ning. Due to his cinnamon-roll-ness, he doubles as the New Kid.
The Tech expert: Galen Erso. He only has Star Wars tech, though.
The Conman, with a side order of The Roper: Jin Guangyao, who journal I only made yesterday.
The Distraction: All six cats
