Zenigata fought Lupin's version of the Riddler.

No lie, there were riddles and bombs and a convoluted scheme to defraud insurance companies and tank stocks, there was a misleading fall guy red-herring.

Zenigata got to run out of an explosion too, carrying a child. Very badass.

This was in his live action Hulu Japan miniseries Zenigata-keibu, which is well worth finding and watching.
