Monday DE: Does this look 'inanimate' to you, punk?
Welp. This week is definitely looking up to be A Week, folks.
Brought to you by having just discovered (hopefully not too late) that I've been, er, drowning Reg the potted rose...
Your character has been given a pot plant to look after. How does it go? Does the plant make it? Do they?
(Reg has been completely drained and left on the balcony to recover a bit. Suffice to say that I am definitely an Aziraphael and not a Crowley.)

Thurlow does decently but not spectacularly. Wilson might manage to muddle through, or he might kill the plant by accident; he knows a bit about botany but it's not his specialty.
Aradia probably has a decent idea what she's doing because she's grown vegetables before on Alternia, as one does when one is a rural impoverished troll child who wants to eat food that isn't what one's lusus dragged back to the doorstep. Cirava has no clue; their living situation doesn't lend itself as well to gardening for food and they have more cash to spend on alternatives, and I can't see them having the necessary skills for drugs reasons because if they were going to cultivate their own supply of any drug it'd be their vape-bugs.

Seimei has carefully planned the landscaping of his extensive garden, keeps bonsai trees, and cultivates certain herbs for magical purposes. If you gave him a potted plant it would do very well, but he might do something like re-pot it if he thought that was warranted.
Murderbot gets nervous at the very idea of being asked to take care of a plant. It could probably manage okay, but it would be so worried about keeping the thing alive that it would be (even more of) a nervous wreck by the end.

Jon will muddle along. He'll forget to water it a few times, and over-water it a few times, and like, leave on classical music for it one day because he heard that helps and then feel silly and never do it again.
Cecil's plant will probably get sucked into the void/stolen in the Blood Space War/accidentally become sentient and need to be sent to high school. Possibly all three. It's not his fault, it's a Monday.

Lan Zhan is going to be the best at it; he's patient, he commits, he's going to do his best. The plant will be happy and thriving.
Zenigata can't even raise a fucking cactus. He's never home, he would never remember when he is home. The only reason he has plants in his office is because the building staff water them.

Ahsoka would definitely keep the plant alive and thriving...OK, not really. She'd forget about or get bored with it. Her life style also doesn't allow for much time at "home".
Sabine could do well as long as she doesn't keep the plant in her room. Too many fumes and chemicals. I can alomost see this being a stress relief for her.
Alustin would do very well and likely carry the plant around with him.
And I don't hink I have any more answers. Stress relief has kind of left me deflated.`
