Okay, music choices for Barry.

1.) He is musically inclined but never in a way where he's done any of it publicly in that Barry has a great singing voice, but it only very rarely comes out.

2.) Barry has a wide taste in music. His favorite films are musicals, so he's all about those and show tunes, but he also likes modern pop and hip hop music. Joe has given him a love for blues and jazz, and from his own parents Barry likes classical music (and the musicals thing was also his mom).

He has also been known to enjoy a bit of classic rock as well.

Zenigata: he actually has a lot of musical likes and dislikes (Enka music in specific, with same scatterings of Japanese disco and pop, who knew?) As for the most bizarre entry into his canon? Despite Mystery of Mamo requiring pot to enjoy, I've got to say Green vs REd, wherein Lupin is like a mantle, fought over, stolen, passed on -- nobody knows who Lupin really is or was, and it reads kind of like some sort of fucking Cthonic entity passing on it's true self to a new person, with Jigen, Goemon, Fujiko and Zenigata all being caught up in the wake. "If Zenigata shoots me, that proves I'm the real Lupin!" is a direct line from the film. It requires a broad understanding of the canon and a desire to get really deep weird metatexual readings and homage.


Zuko: look the fucking episode where appa and momo fight like samurai is when the series legit jumped the shark. i'm sorry, but that never should have made it past storyboarding. Also, Zuko likes music, plays the tsungi horn, so one can assume he's into the traditional music of his people?


Lan Zhan: This character is a composer and musician (honestly, all of them are, every one of them can play an instrument.) He enjoys traditional music, but in Milliways, is expanding himself to more 'mediocre'/unscholarly forms of music.

Yamato's canon has Hurricane Touchdown, a horror movie scored entirely by sinister banjo music about a ghost Wendigomon. That's pretty weird.

As far as music goes, Yamato is super into music and specifically likes jazz, blues, hip-hop, and rock music. He's been a part of a few different indie bands before as both bass guitarist and lead singer.

It is canon that Tess (and her actress) can sing very well. She's not very vocal about it, she would never sing in public (unless magicked by champagne) and isn't going to use her voice any more than singing Lettie lullabies.

Kylo can sort of sing, though it's not anything he's ever investigated. He likes soft music, nature sounds etc. Anything to calm him down.

Creed can also sing pretty well, but why would he? He's fond of the 40s and 50s music.
